## What is Ash Tag?

Ash Tag is the smartest way to manage your cigar collection.

A box you bought in 2024 and three singles you picked up last month are not the
same cigar. Ash Tag is the only humidor app that knows the difference — tracking
every box, tin and single on its own aging clock, in whichever humidor it
actually lives.

Point your camera at a shelf and Ash Tag identifies the cigars on it, filling in
your collection as you go. Scan a barcode, snap a photo, or search by name.

a handful of singles. Each keeps its own resting date, price and count, on one

I appreciate the way this app looks but it does not seem much different than the app “My Humidor” and that’s free. At least it’s only $3

So far this app is pretty good. If it could scan the cigar’s barcode or analyze the cigar band to quickly add a cigar to your inventory, it would be a 5 star app.

Boxes and singles of the same cigar aren't the same age. This release rebuilds
how Ash Tag counts your collection so it finally knows the difference.

LOTS & AGING
• Record each purchase as its own lot — a sealed box of 25, a tin of 5, three
  singles — each with its own resting date, price and count.
• One continuous aging clock per lot. It never pauses and never resets, so you
  always know exactly how long a stick has rested.
• Milestone badges at one, two and five years, so long-resting stock stands out
  at a glance.
• Cost per stick worked out for you from what you paid for the box.
• Mark a box sealed and Ash Tag draws from your open stock first.
• Keep a box in the cabinet and the singles in your travel case — the same blend
  can rest in two places on two different clocks.
• New Aging card on the home screen, and you can now sort your collection by age.

LIVE HUMIDITY

• Auto-picked images are badged so you always know which are ours and which are
  yours. Replace any of them whenever you like.

• Redesigned filter bar on the collection screen, with a humidor picker that no

SORT YOUR COLLECTION
A new sort menu sits right above your cigar list. Sort by brand, name, price, quantity, rating, last smoked, strength, size, ring gauge, length, country, or humidor — ascending or descending. Cheapest first, strongest first, longest since you smoked it: it's your call.

REVIEWS AS A JOURNAL
Reviews can now be sorted by date, cigar name, brand, or rating. Sorting by date groups your reviews by month, so your review list reads like a smoking journal. Every review also shows which cigar it belongs to at a glance.

SMALL TOUCHES
Your sort choice is remembered between launches, and cigars missing a value (no price, never rated) stay out of the way at the bottom of the list.

Introducing Humidors! 

Your collection just got organized. You can now track exactly where every cigar lives.

• New Humidors tab — Create a humidor for your desktop box, cabinet, cooler, or travel case. Give each one a name, capacity, location, and target humidity.

• See it at a glance — Every humidor shows its cigar count, fill level, and total value. Overfilled? The gauge turns amber so you know it's time to expand.

• Move cigars in seconds — Tap Move to shift cigars between humidors, or split a box across two. Moving 5 of 20 to your travel case? Done in two taps.

• Filter your Collection by humidor — New filter chips on the Collection tab show you exactly what's in each humidor, and every cigar card shows where it's stored.

• Nothing to set up — Your existing collection is untouched. Cigars simply appear as "Unassigned" until you file them, whenever you're ready. Deleting a humidor never deletes cigars — they just return to Unassigned.

• Home screen summary — A new dashboard line shows your humidors, total cigars stored, and how many are still waiting to be filed.

Plus: cigar counts now show actual sticks (not entries), and a refreshed custom humidor icon throughout the app.

New: Humidor Scan.

Instead of logging cigars one by one, just take a photo of your shelf. Ash Tag reads the labels, identifies each cigar, and populates your collection automatically. It's the fastest way to get your humidor into the app.

Also added barcode scanning with a community-driven database that grows smarter with every scan, and AI name and image  search for when you can't find a barcode.
