It is a very short but difficult game, very similar to inflation rpg but has many QOL improvements like instant fights, for example. I love it a lot, my only complaint is maybe raise some of the drop chances on bosses or add a pity system cause I’ve played the game over many times and still haven’t gotten some of the items lol. Try this game if you like satisfying rpg progression and a little grind

Upon going through the enemies collecting coins, your coins can be reset back to 0 out of no where to no reason so it’s impossible to save money. Unplayable because of this.

So you tap the screen to attack the enemy and exit combat to be able to disperse stat points, but the a simple pressing on the screen too many times drops all your stats into a skill on accident and there seems to be no way to undo the selection. The gold at the top of the screw is cut off by the center black bar at the top of the screen on the IPhone. Why can’t I see how much gold I have on the inventory screen? Movement is very choppy. This game needs some TLC before it’s ready to be played by people who have played the likes of Resolute Hero

In iPhone 12 there’s an indent in the top of the screen which covers the gold available in portrait mode, so I switched to landscape, but all the buttons are much smaller now so it’s harder to do stuff.

Interesting game that clearly has some passion behind it, but it lacks a lot of overall polish. However, it seems to be actively updated and I’m hopeful for the future. By the time this review is a couple months old, I trust it’ll be a fleshed out game.

This genre does not have very many options in it, especially on Apple, and this game brings a fresh and unique design while still staying true to the core gameplay. Ashes was addicting and rewarding, I will definitely play anything else this developer puts out!
