Ashibaya helps you prepare scaffold material quantities for a site and compare them with the stock you have. Organize different scaffold systems into zones, review calculation assumptions, and keep an editable copy of your project. PLAN BY ZONE Enter dimensions and conditions for each zone. Use detailed wedge scaffold input for supported rows, obstacles and end conditions. Combine zones using dimension-based drafts or component recipes you register. Supported systems and sample components reflect Japanese scaffold types; confirm the actual products and conditions before use. REVIEW STOCK AND COSTS Register material specifications, unit weights, stock, purchase unit prices and daily rental rates. Find materials with shortages or missing information using filters and readable material cards. Unknown values remain unknown, and partial cost calculations are identified. Stock is not automatically reserved or reduced. CHECK THE CALCULATION BASIS Review each zone's calculation status, input errors, outstanding checks and calculation basis. Zones with errors are excluded from the combined quantities. Correct the inputs and calculate again before using the plan. READ DRAWING PDFs Review dimension candidates from a drawing PDF or calibrate point-to-point measurements against a known dimension. Check the dimension line, unit, scope and destination before applying a value to a zone. These aids do not replace your review of the drawing. SAVE AND SHARE Save projects on your device and reopen them from the project list. Export the current project as JSON, results as CSV, or output documents as PDF. Use project JSON to move an editable project to another device. Keep original drawing PDFs separately: project JSON does not include PDF files or back up the entire project list. No account or login is required. Normal entry, calculations and local saving work offline in the installed app. External references and network-based sharing destinations need a connection. There is no automatic sync between devices. UNITS AND SCOPE The interface is available in Japanese and English. Dimensions use metric units and weights use kg. All purchase prices, daily rental rates and calculated costs are in Japanese yen (JPY). Changing language does not convert units or currency. Cost comparisons exclude transport, installation, base fees and tax. Ashibaya supports material quantity planning. It does not perform strength calculations, approve designs or guarantee legal or construction safety compliance. The responsible person must verify site conditions, manufacturer specifications, layouts, supports, ties, connections and loads. Reference quantities count shared corner supports once between adjoining faces. Outlines with conflicting dimensions or unresolved conditions are held. • Check the drawing, planned lengths and quantity basis, then review material changes before saving and applying them to the overall plan. Explicitly carry a revised PDF over as the same building and recheck its dimensions. • Record the site, worker, working times, breaks and work done. Summarise regular hours, overtime and man-days using the company rules you set. • Reports stay on the device. Review text or CSV and pass it on yourself using copy or the device's share options. There is no automatic email or LINE sending. • Updated Japanese and English screens and user guides. Material quantities are reference values for the scope you have checked. Verify the source drawing, site conditions, corner details and the selected manufacturer's configuration. ### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-14 Drawing takeoff now connects more of your workflow, from reviewing candidates to saving the result. • Analyse all PDF pages together to organise run candidates from text, dimensions and straight lines. Supported iPhones can also read scanned text on the device. • Link plan lengths to elevation heights, or identify a run using two points on the source drawing. • Calculate combinations of supported span lengths in whole millimetres, and compare the requested length, planned length and difference. • Review span differences and possible total-and-component overlap. Runs requiring unregistered materials are excluded. • Save conditions and selected runs for each project. Reopen the same project and PDF to resume your review. • Transfer the same automatic takeoff again to update its matching zone in the general planner. Material quantities are reference values for selected, confirmed independent runs.
