Level 2? McGraw-Hill Education’s Spanish language app ¡Así lo digo! offers a quick and easy way to learn, practice, and review all the vocabulary presented in ¡Así se dice!. You can choose to study vocabulary cards or challenge yourself with contextualized activities. When learning Spanish vocabulary with the flashcards, you can flip the card to learn its English equivalent, listen to a native Spanish speaker pronounce the word, and even record your own voice pronouncing the word to compare it to the recorded pronunciation. You have the option to view the English word first and challenge yourself to recall the Spanish equivalent. You mark your attempts as "correct" or "incorrect" and a status bar indicates your progress. Activities allow you to practice listening and reading comprehension. Listen to a phrase and match it to the correct answer, or read descriptions and match them to the correct illustration. Identify synonyms and antonyms, and sequence sentences correctly. Determine if a speaker’s statements are true or false, and listen for key information. The formatting is absolutely garbage making the app look like it was badly cropped from google images. You can’t scroll down without it taking you back to the top. The app randomly crashes every few minutes. The lessons are awfully made. 0/10 app, do not use this for your students, get another app like Duolingo ### 1/5 — Terrible *2024-12-11, version 1.0* Probably one of the worst apps i've ever used across all genres, doesn't even work half the time. I hate this app so much it makes me want to snap my phone and eat it. It is I, Pickled Richard!" Mortimer, the grandson, was not so amused Pickled Richard inquired to his grandson "Are you not impressed by my talents in natural philosophy?" Mortimer, deeply disappointed in his brilliant Grandfather, responded "No" Pickled Richard ceased speaking, as he had realized, his grandson Mortimer thought of such experience to be quite colloquial, as opposed to his own feelings. ### 5/5 — Lol *2020-02-25, version 1.0* I used this app once and know I’m a teacher ### 1/5 — 15 *2020-02-04, version 1.0* Number 15: Burger king foot lettuce. The last thing you'd want in your Burger King burger is someone's foot fungus. But as it turns out, that might be what you get. A 4channer uploaded a photo anonymously to the site showcasing his feet in a plastic bin of lettuce. With the statement: "This is the lettuce you eat at Burger King." Admittedly, he had shoes on. But that's even worse. The post went live at 11:38 PM on July 16, and a mere 20 minutes later, the Burger King in question was alerted to the rogue employee. At least, I hope he's rogue. How did it happen? Well, the BK employee hadn't removed the Exif data from the uploaded photo, which suggested the culprit was somewhere in Mayfleld Heights, Ohio. This was at 11:47. Three minutes later at 11:50, the Burger King branch address was posted with wishes of happy unemployment. 5 minutes later, the news station was contacted by another 4channer. And three minutes later, at 11:58, a link was posted: BK's "Tell us about us" online forum. The foot photo, otherwise known as exhibit A, was attached. Cleveland Scene Magazine contacted the BK in question the next day. When questioned, the breakfast shift manager said "Oh, I know who that is. He's getting fired." Mystery solved, by 4chan.
