## What is Asideo?

Asideo is the fastest way to capture a thought. Triple-tap the back of your iPhone and start
  talking — Asideo records, transcribes on-device, and uses Apple Intelligence to format your note
  into whatever shape you need.

  — TRIGGER WITH BACK TAP —
  Set up Back Tap once in Settings, and Asideo becomes invisible. No app to open, no button to press.
   Triple-tap to start recording, triple-tap to stop. Works from any app, the Lock Screen, even with
  your phone in your pocket.

  — ON-DEVICE TRANSCRIPTION —
  Every transcription happens on your iPhone. Your voice never leaves your device. No accounts, no
  cloud sync, no tracking.

  — APPLE INTELLIGENCE FORMATTING —
  Asideo can reshape any voice note using Apple Intelligence:
  • Summary — a 2-4 sentence recap in your own voice
  • To-Do — every action item as a Markdown checklist
  • Class Notes — structured study notes with a Questions section
  • Brainstorm — themed groupings with Next Steps
  • Diary — clean, readable prose that stays true to what you said

  All AI runs on-device. (Requires iPhone 15 Pro or newer with Apple Intelligence enabled.)

  A Live Activity shows recording status from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. A Lock Screen
  widget toggles recording without unlocking. AirPods stem-press also starts and stops a recording.

  Asideo includes a soundboard for hands-free sound effects. Import audio files from Files, iCloud,
  Voice Memos, or AirDrop — or use the included Apple Shortcut to pull audio from video clips.
