Zero stars. *2026-08-31* This app is absolutely horrible and completely useless for classroom management. It fails at the most basic functions a school app needs. I cannot send pictures to parents, nor can I update them about anything going on in the school, the classroom, or their child’s day.To make matters worse, it is an incredible time-waster for teachers. Essential daily logging for things like bathroom breaks, food, and nap times can only be done individually. There is no option to log these activities as a group, which actively takes valuable time away from the children.Asilo isolates parents, frustrates educators, and creates a glitchy workflow nightmare. Do not download this app for your childcare center. ### 1/5 — Disappointing app *2026-08-21* My kids’ school just changed to this app from a different service and it is horrible. There is no way to save photos other than screen shots, so they are tiny and you have to manually crop the app interface off, which means we can’t save memories from their school day. Not a fan. *2026-03-11* Our daycare just switched from Procare to Asilo and I have to say I’m not a fan at all. It’s like the app developers have never actually worked in a childcare setting or ever had children in daycare. There is way too much emphasis on graphics and trying to be “cute” but I really just want a simple interface that tells me important details about my child’s day, not a smiling panda with smells coming out of its butt to communicate that my child had a bowel movement. There is no option for teachers to add notes or free text along with the feeding, nap, and bathroom events when logged which means I’m getting far less information than I did previously with Procare. Occasional mood updates with emojis are just silly and not helpful for babies, to be honest. Procare had a “drop off notes” feature that I used religiously to document my baby’s wake up time, last meal and last diaper change before drop-off to facilitate a smooth and consistent transition in care from home to school. There is no similar option in Asilo, which is really too bad and something that I know parents and teachers want. This mostly just applies to babies but it’s so important at that age! Our daycare was apparently recently purchased by the app developers so was of course forced to make the switch to Asilo. To the developers/new owners - do better for your parent users! I’m sure I’m not the only one with feedback that I would love to see incorporated in a future app update. ### 5/5 — Great school app *2026-02-25* This app is easy to use, well organized and keeps everything in one convenient place. Updates announcements and daily information are clear and accessible, making school communication simple, and efficient. It is a reliable tool that helps keep families informed and operations running smoothly. Highly recommend for all schools. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2025-12-14* I’ve been trying to access this app for months now on my phone and all I’m getting is nothing, blank page or it’s telling me I’m not connected to the school. How am I supposed to pay for my child when the school uses this app. The tries to help but still nothing to this day. ### 1/5 — App not working constantly *2025-07-11* Not working first screen to login child in daycare ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2025-06-23* I wanted to register with a daycare and couldn’t. I called the daycare and they said the app and all the system is having problems. People can’t register and parents can’t check in at the daycare. Wow.
