I've tried some of the other free apps out here, but this one has some big glaring holes. Like why can you enter your BP and not your pulse? The two things are hand in hand on most home meters. Very silly. Why does the med list have no supplements or amounts? It would be better left off entirely then the poor implementation it's got now; other apps do it MUCH better. Insurance information needs to let you enter more than one type of insurance and you should be able to take a photo of the front and back of the card and interface with wallet on iPhone and with your driver's license, etc. Maybe even with a medic alert app, I haven't checked to see if one of those exists yet. ### 4/5 — Great medical app! *2016-01-21* The description of the app is to the point and tells you exactly what the app does. The content of the app is very clear cut and the team that built this app seems to have taken help from qualifies physicians. The app is very easy to works around and navigate, which makes it easy to use for everyone above the age of 15. The app is one-stop shop for all medical needs such as health tracking, connecting with physicians near by and tracking medication. The app is free, which means that you are getting free medical advise for FREE! The app seems to be pretty popular and has really good reviews! I see 2 areas where the app can improve- 1. The icon of the app can be more attractive. 2. The number of questions asked before zeroing in the medication and cause, can be reduced. Overall I would say that this is a great app! Once I connected my health history, AskMD gave me several scenarios that could be causing my persistent cough- a few of which were not suggested during past doctor visits. I now have new information to present at my next appointment. Thank you!!!! ### 5/5 — Incredible insights *2026-08-03* I have some very complex medical issues that I always have questions about. Once I connected AskMD to my health records I was able to start asking questions that have been on my mind for years. Things doctors couldn’t really even answer clearly without doing tons of research. Without telling the platform anything about myself, it was able to look back through all of my medical records and give me clear logical answers to those questions, including great advice! Highly recommend this product. ### 5/5 — AskMD Innovative & Helpful *2026-07-23* I had played golf the past three days and my back was soar which I was not used to. I asked AskMD what the problem could possibly be. It asked me “if I changed my golf swing”, which I indeed did. An impressive question from an Artificial Intelligence. It analyzed that the movement and muscles I was using in my new swing was causing a strain on my back because the new muscles I was using are underdeveloped. It then gave me instructional videos and next steps for treating it. I am super impressed and it saved me a trip to the doctor. ### 5/5 — Healthcare Super App *2026-07-18* Wow. First app that actually cuts through the healthcare mess. All my records in one place, and instead of a generic answer I got a real, specific plan on how to improve my recent labs. While your somatic is the viceversa of the autonomic. It is easy to use and provides a comprehensive analysis of my symptoms. What I like the most is that it stores all my medical information and issues so that I can literally look at my phone the next time I'm at the doctor's office to provide a more detailed account of what is going on. ### 5/5 — So Convenient!!! *2015-09-04* My wife was having some type nausea that she was not familiar with which caused immediate panic. The hospital was the first thing we thought of, and I downloaded this app a couple of weeks before and I was waiting for a time where this would come in handy. This app ask very detailed questions (like a dr would) and it actually diagnosed her pretty accurately. We still went to the doctor, but the doctor actually confirmed the diagnosis without us even telling him about the app, that's how I knew it was legit!! If you're a parent, get this app for your children sake at least, it will definitely help. ### 5/5 — Great App - Like having a Doc in your pocket! *2015-05-14* This has been one of the best apps I have come across. I love how I can personalize my health information and have access to doctors in the geographical area where I am traveling. This has come in handy while touring colleges with my oldest child and she came down with a nasty bug. On top of finding a doctor in the area where we were staying I was also able to immediately speak to a doctor with their new telemedicine program - great stuff! Thanks for lowering my stress Sharecare! ### 5/5 — Helpful! *2014-11-03* Finally a well designed medical app. It was easy to use and had a very pleasant interface. The questions were more personalized than in other similar apps and the information I got was precisely targeted to my concerns. One of the best features of this app is that it gives you a list of physicians in your area and then lets you select one by insurance plans accepted.
