There’s no enough/interesting events in Dubai, neither people. Its designe isn’t friendly. They don’t refund your money, even if you haven’t used it. I wasted my money with the promise of a cool app... So, head up before you engage on it. Great design, good interface and fun to use. Yes, there are still a few glitches here and there but we’ve seen a flow of steady updates over the last months so that it will only improve from here. Didn’t get accepted for a unknown reason. Refused to refund my money after showing proof of payment . Support email won’t reply for days and not understand at all. ### 1/5 — Outdated *2023-10-18* The good times of this app are unfortunately over. Despite having a design of an outdated app, the community is also super small. The app is definitely not self explanatory and despite being a travel and connecting app. They don‘t really emphasize this. User experience is low and it seems like the last major update which really brings a benefit was ages ago. ### 1/5 — Where are the events?? *2022-10-29, version 3.6.3* Traveling to Atlanta and was hoping to connect and explore the city. When I came across the A Small World, I was so excited to try it! However, when I researched the event page, there have never been past events and it looks like there will be no future events in Atlanta… I expected there to be at least one nice event to check out. That said, I do appreciate the transparency by the company, especially with the price tag. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2022-07-26, version 3.5.2* Boring with hardly any people or meetings. This is supposed to be elite like Raya but instead it’s just plain boring. It’s not really known about which means barley anyone uses it and the people who do are of low calibre. Save 89€ yearly and build your network on free, wider and far more efficient platforms. ### 1/5 — Useless app if you don't pay for it *2020-04-16, version 3.1.4* So my account expired during the lockdown and I decided not to pay for it until everything returns to normal. The app is pretty useless in such a case! I can't check my messages now unless I pay!!! Really you expect me to pay for no events? Big mistake. Turns out they have no gatherings for 2019 yet they do not fail to collect the annual subscription (75odd euros). It’s impossible to opt out of auto renewal so think twice before handing out your credit card details especially if you live in a city that does not have an active chapter. ### 1/5 — A SMALL WORLD IS WASTE OF MONEY *2019-04-15, version 2.18.5* I’ve joined ASW thinking that it was an exciting and buzzing online community but far from it! It turns out to be the exact opposite, the parties are lame and nobody turns up Don’t believe the hype!
