Note: this mode works pretty well at night time and twilight, but on direct sunlight the screen brightness can be insufficient. - aSmartHUD can keep track on 4 speed limits, giving a warning each time you crossing it. Normally, it's legal speed limits within cities, local roads and high-speed motorways. "Never exceed speed" is the speed you should not exceed under any conditions. Like technical limit of your vehicle or the point where government can arrest your driving license. - 3D Trip Log Graph - unique way to represent the speed, location and altitude data in a single 3D graph. Weather does not work either. This is a waste of time and money, I have since found other apps that are better and FREE. DO NOT BUY, if they had a trial version then they wouldn't have a single sale!!! ### 5/5 — A Must Have App *2012-12-04, version 5.7.1* I bought this app with somewhat low expectations. I had been disappointed before with other HUD and digital speedo apps for Iphone. When I downloaded this app I expected a few flashy features, but all I needed was a HUD and speedo that worked well. I WAS WRONG. This app is chocked full of features. The more I played, the more I found to like. The 3D map although small works well, which surprised me. If you need to see the whole map, not a problem, A couple of touches and you have the map on the screen. Another feature I liked was the media player. You can choose and listen to your favorite playlist, while on the go. The compass does get 'hung up' on occasion but I have had that issue with other apps, so I won't blame the developers (or should I). Another feature are the warnings when you go over the speed limit. The warning sound is a 'pleasing morse code' tone, and the vibrating display is also a good reference. Interested in the weather? No Problem, they have made provisions for that too. Personally, I think this app is under rated by the developers. There is so much on this app to use, I gave it 5 stars. I would love to see (in the future) a possible fix for the compass getting hung up. It doesn't happen a lot, but it does happen, and it fixes itself, so no rebooting. Another feature I would LOVE to see is a Black Box video feature option. Put it on your window mount and video all the idiots in front of you. It does have the camera feature for still shots, but I haven't found the video feature yet..... I'll keep looking.
