I ran into the same bug where the login page timed out immediately, but I was able to fix it by logging out completely and binding the console again from scratch. Overall, Asobi is a good app with true cross-platform support, and it does not charge an arm and a leg every year like Portal, which costs $60 annually. **Developer response:** Thanks for the great review! I'll look and see what I can do about the login page -> I sometimes have the same issue with the PS app from Sony themselves. I have tried changing every setting and even changed some things on my router to make it not stutter but I can't get a perfect stream. I have a Wi-Fi 7 router and my device is connected to Wi-Fi 7. There is no reason why the stream should stutter. Even the app UI seems a little laggy. In contrast, the PXPLAY app gives me a perfect stream with minimal tweaking. This app has great potential but not enjoyable at the moment. **Developer response:** Adaptive frame pacing is being added with the next update, should be out soon! You could also consider turning on the experimental version of "Adaptive frame pacing", this is also likely to resolve your issues. ### 5/5 — Amazing *2026-06-11* Here we go… I installed this on my Mac Neo and there was a loading glitch. I used my other Mac to play it was a good start playing my classics again. After the subscription it was good on my phone too. Thank You For Asobi **Developer response:** Thank you! ### 5/5 — Ravis de mon achat *2026-06-11* L’application est bien conçu et claire, je l’utilise sur mon Mac et mon iPad Pro m5 Les seuls et defaults que je lui trouve ( rien de bien méchant) est que la liste des jeux via ps+ mélange les jeux pour la zone France avec le reste de monde cela peut créer une légère confusion au lancement de certain titre qui refuseront de se lancer Aussi l’overlay de la manette tactile n’est pas intuitive les placement des bouton rond et triangle rendent un peu bizarre quand on est trop habitué à la manette Sinon, ras la qualité est bonne en streaming direct ou en remote sur la ps5 que ce soit en wifi ou en 5g sur l’iPad ### 5/5 — Excellent !!! *2026-06-10* Quel plaisir de pouvoir jouer avec nos jeux PS5 sur Mac. Hate de voir les futur mise a jour top du top ### 3/5 — RUDP ISSUE!! *2026-06-06, version 1.3.4* I have two ps5 consoles both at different locations, both connected to the internet via Ethernet cable with the same ISP and internet settings. I can connect to both remotely via the official remote play app no matter where I am in the world and both have a very good connection, but I can only connect to one using Asobi: Remote play. I constantly keep getting RUDP ERRORS no matter what I try yet I seem to have no issue connecting to the other console. The one I can't connect to in my main console and it's driving me insane as I paid money for the extra services (mainly full screen) but as this point the official remote play app seems to trump this app unfortunately. Loses connection and needs to reauthenticate every couple weeks. I can’t believe they offer a paid version - for what?!? I’ve been clicking the setting that you put in there to change the colors to not look washed out, they still look dull and horrendous. The audio is cracking all the time. Why do you push daily updates and just ruining the app? It is literally nearly unusable, stop putting 30 different settings and messing everything up!! Stop manipulating colors, it’s not 1930s!! **Developer response:** I hear your frustrations, and I'm sorry that it inconveniences you. That said, the past few updates have had no effect on your sound issues, you can see the release notes on what's been changed and you'll see these updates focus more on other aspects. The HDR Colours are currently dimmed which is in preparation with update 1.2.0 which has the definitive version of the HDR colorspace, which should make it perform like it should compared to previous versions of the app. ### 1/5 — No funciona en todos los dispositivos que anuncian *2026-03-19, version 1.1.5* Funciona en AV, pero en mi Mac mini M4 nunca ha funcionado, ni con versiones Beta del sistema, ni con versiones oficiales del sistema, tengo la A actualizada a la 1.1.5 y ni con esas, en ninguna versión ha funcionado. I love that I’m able to pretty seamlessly use my phone to access cloud streaming the way I would on my PS Portal. I’m subject to cellular service and WiFi access to be sure but when those things aren’t a factor this app is superior to the PlayStation remote play app in just about every way. ### 5/5 — Speed with 2nd screen *2026-08-18* Sony has heavy software quality requirements and this app actually works at 4K with HDR or adaptive gaming.
