And after that the app is just giving me payment failures even if there is more than sufficient balance or different payment modes are used. Support has not been that great. I tried several times. It’s fast, reliable, and very easy to use. One feature I’d really love to see is a UK widget that supports GBP to INR. At the moment, the widget only offers the USD option, which is disappointing for UK users. Also, the GBP rate tracker doesn’t seem to send notifications even after setting a target exchange rate. It would be great if this could be fixed, as it would make the app even more useful. I recently moved to Europe and needed to send money back home. A friend recommended Aspora, but at first I was unsure because it was a third-party app, and I wasn’t sure if it was safe. Since I didn’t have many options, I decided to give it a try. The setup process was simple. I added my bank account and made my first transfer. I expected it to take around 24 hours, but my first transaction arrived in about 6–7 hours, which was already much faster than I expected. After that, every transfer has been almost instant—just like sending money within my home country. It’s literally a one-click process. The transfer charges are also much better compared to other apps I’ve used. I regularly use WISE and get my money in India in seconds. I wanted to try it once, and got my money stuck for hours. My account was verified, asked me for documentation. I uploaded a generated STATEMENT ENERGY BILLS and all. A system generated document was rejected for having low quality or low light while taking a picture. I uploaded it straight not a picture. Horrible experience. I uploaded my bank statements showing fund multiple times but just says verification failed without any reason. I have to reach out to customer support and they don’t help in anyway just say we have escalated. I kept following up for two days and kept uploading documents but at the end they say it’s failed and by the time rate has gone down. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Aspora.
