I am torn about buying on iso or steam 😂. The one thing that bugs me is about the extreme difficulty. I like to beat games at the hardest difficulty some of the maps I feel can only be done on this difficulty with huge reinforcement ‘abuse’ and that the time frames to complete the maps are just a broad blanket stamp of difficulty without taking the individual maps into consideration ### 5/5 — Bd5370 *2026-03-18, version 1.59* Need more maps. La sélection des unités est parfois difficile. Les déplacements ennemis font bouger la carte dans tous les sens. Je n’ai pas vu de moyen de sauver une partie en cours. Once you reach a certain mission plan on farming the maps for a couple years and then you still won’t be able to beat a certain map! It gets super crazy and stupid. The different units are hard to distinguish. The angled map perspective is confusing. Stupid changes from earlier versions. I really wanted the same play experience with more options for weapons. Instead it is unplayable ### 1/5 — FAIL! *2022-02-24, version 1.14* I’ve had the other games in the series for a long time and I’ve enjoyed them. This game, however, is a complete FAIL! I paid to have advertising removed and to have access to ALL maps. The advertisements were removed but I do NOT have access to all the maps. The game is a disaster. There are many bugs. For example, it is sometimes impossible to select some units. Maybe after multiple tries, I can a select a unit that I couldn’t previously select. Sometimes units won’t go into buildings for repair or to be medicated. The map is very awkward to play with. The units are hard to identify. Maneuvering is clunky and unnecessarily difficult. The maps are at an angle so there is usually wasted black space on the screen. The third map I tried to play is not winnable. The mission starts with the computer already controlling most of the map. After the first round of play, the computer is already surrounding the only two remaining buildings and has control of every other building on the map. The game is also pay as you go. You have to constantly buy credits to be able to play. I like turn based games and I don’t mind paying for a game, but this is nothing short of being a rip-off. I will be filing a complaint with Apple about not getting access to the maps that I paid for. Overall, this game is a major disappointment in every aspect. ### 2/5 — Equipment Graphics *2026-02-24, version 1.59* This new game is like the original mainly but the equipment graphics/ icons are cheep and ugly, the equipment should have been the same as the old game gut in 3D. M1 tanks HMMWVs, etc… the infantry and Heavy Infantry look the same and I can’t tell them apart visually. Bei allem Verständnis für die Notwendigkeit (Wunsch) Geld verdienen zu müssen - ich habe es gekauft! Ich spiele nicht für lau! Gerne normale Banner oder 2 bis 4 Werbeblöcke. Il serait super d’en developper d’autres du même genre . ### 5/5 — Überraschen gut Spielbar *2026-04-03* Anfangs war ich etwas skeptisch, da die Werbung nervt und das Münzsystem Anfang ein PTW vermuten ließ. Dem ist glücklicher Weise nicht so. Die einzigen kosten, die auf einen zukommen sind Karten und Werbefreiheit und dann ist man bei einem moderaten Preis für das Spiel. Und dies Spiel macht Laune. Ich suchte gezielt nach einem Spielprinzip wie damals etwa History-Line und BattleIsle. Wer dies damals liebte ist hier durchaus gut aufgehoben.
