I have used it for years. The other Legendary randomizes I used to use are not updated anymore. I would give this a full 5-star rating but I really want it to be updated with the new What If…? set and I don’t know how else to Message the developer. When does it get updated for new expansions? *2023-06-27, version 1.9.0* Love this app and I am very grateful it exists as it provides a fun way to easily review heroes, villains, henchman, schemes and masterminds. The ability to randomize game set ups by the amount of people playing and the difficulty you want to play at is wonderful. My one question is, how often do we need to wait for the app to receive an update containing new expansions? Would really love to see the cards from Midnight Suns get added to the app so I can start using them in my set ups. One suggestion I have is it should have an option where, after the app chooses a mastermind, it’d be cool if it checked if the mastermind had an epic version and randomized if it’s epic or not. Now they are locking it behind providing PII. I love this app and have since I first got it. However it has been over 2 years since they last updated it (as of 2/16/2026). At this point I don’t recommend getting this app, even if they were to update it because there’s no guarantee they would continue. This is by far the best randomizer for Marvel Legendary, deserving of 5 stars. Needs an immediate fix. ### 2/5 — Missing content *2019-10-02, version 1.8.25* While I appreciate a Randomizer and the keyword references you are missing a great deal of the revelations set and no support for phase 1 exclusives such as iron monger or the additional villains or henchmen ### 2/5 — Good app, terrible ads *2018-07-23, version 1.8.18* The functionality of the app itself is great but if you don’t get the ad free version, the ads ruin the whole experience. Not satisfied with 3 minute long unskippable video ads, the situation has now escalated into “interactive game” ads which won’t let you continue until you figure out what the magic combination of movements are with zero instruction until you have “progressed” far enough to either force you into the App Store or finally bring up a tiny “x” Mark allowing you to finally go to your set. The app itself does have great customisability, allowing you to mix and match just about any expansion set in with what you want to play, but be prepared to pay for it. Definitely strongly recommend against the free version because those ads are just awful. ### 3/5 — Great app, not updated with recent expansions *2025-09-28, version 1.9.1* This app would be perfect if the developer had continued to update it with recent expansions from the game. Unfortunately, the only option you are left with now is to add the new content as custom cards, one at a time. It’s a good app, I paid for it, I’m happy to have paid for it. I would load my expansions and custom decks and it would not save them. I finally got them to save, then I got a new IPad. App saved data won’t transfer, 600 saved custom cards won’t transfer and now, my purchase is NOT recognized on either iPad. Love the app but it just doesn’t work like it’s advertised. Very disappointed. It’s by far one of my favourite board games. This app is really useful on how to help setup a unique game that you probably never experienced before. I would like to make a couple of suggestions to mildly improve it. (At least for me) 1) Making expansions sortable by release date and alphabetically. 2) An option to save in my collection so that you can reset to it. 3) A search bar in the keyword reference so you don’t have to search through the whole list. Or better still if you could see a list of keywords based on what has been selected in your randomised game.
