Assignment tells NYC street photographers what's actually worth shooting today.

Every morning it reads the city's official event permits (parades, protests, festivals, concerts, film shoots, ceremonies and more) and ranks them by editorial priority. You leave the house knowing where the real pictures are, instead of scrolling a flat calendar.

The assignment screen is simpler and faster to read. The map appears for every shoot with a known location, and Directions, Calendar and Share sit together in one row.

Accessibility: the whole app follows Dynamic Type, so it scales with your text size, and VoiceOver reads every control.

The coverage log has been retired. It was record-keeping the app did not do well, and it was in the way of the part that matters — knowing where the picture is.
