Recipes, puzzle solutions, power calculator, and way to record portal locations. Unfortunately it also is extremely slow to update. It would be nice to use it whenever a new expedition came out but that’s not always an option. Otherwise, I really do love this app. ### 4/5 — Essential NMS resource/companion but inventory management is a problem *2025-03-10, version 2.28.1* I’ve been writing NMS notes in a notebook for a few months and just came across this app. Almost all the info I’ve written in my notebook is available in this app in a much more organized and accessible format. Just about everything I want or need to know is accounted for here in a very clean, user friendly layout. The most helpful feature, for me at the moment, by far is the inventory management assistance. Unfortunately I’m experiencing what, unless can be fixed, is a deal breaking issue with this section of the app. The app allows you to create multiple individual storage compartments representing the various inventory compartments in your game. You create a container, name it, choose an icon to represent it’s in-game counterpart (such as a storage container with a 3 on it for your in-game storage container 3). Once the container is created you can easily fill it with all the items, in their respective quantities, that are in the actual container in the game. This is unbelievably helpful when you want to check how much of a certain item/resource you have (or if you have it at all) while you are away from your storage containers. It’s also useful for remembering where everything is. I have ten storage containers, six extra ships and three exocrafts filled with items. Being able to reference what I have and where it is without having to physically interact with the container in the game is a blessing. Here’s where the huge issue comes in for me. Once an item is added to one of these storage containers I can’t remove it or change the quantity. There is a drop down menu that appears when an item is touched with “Edit” and “Delete” options but pressing these does nothing. The only way I’ve found to remove or edit the quantity of something in a storage container is to delete the entire storage container then rebuild it and refill it, this time with the updated quantities and/or items removed. For this inventory tool to be helpful at all I need to be able to keep the app inventories aligned with their in-game counterparts. If I have a storage container in the app filled with 37 different items and I need to change the quantity of two items in there, there’s no way I’m gonna delete the container, rebuild it and refill it with all 37 items just to update the quantity of those two things. If I can’t update quantities or remove items this goes from being the most helpful tool in the toolbox to being broken and useless. Please tell me there’s a way to fix this. Assistant for No Man’s Sky is the most convenient way to quickly look up that information. Being able to record things like portal addresses also helps with locating player bases or favorite star systems without needing to plop down a base. In addition, I’ve recently been enjoying the random portal address generator. It sends me to explore parts of the galaxy I might not go near otherwise. There’s definitely a lot more in this app I need to try out. ### 5/5 — NMS BIBLE *2024-10-27, version 2.28.1* This app has saved me so many times! Absolutely anything you question how to make will be answered on this app. I’m now teaching grandson, he just learned how to make “pure ferrite”!
