The app is lackluster. I tested with a simulated 15 minute meeting in which we discussed quite a number of takeaways. The app often misses topics or comments of legal importance ### 5/5 — Force Multiplier *2026-03-02* My experience with the app has been good. I am able to use the tool as a “force multiplier” in the sense that I can now more efficiently and reliably deliver meeting outcomes to my colleagues rapidly in situations where my hand-written notes required recent memory (not a great tool at my age) and quick follow-up action to deliver notes to my colleagues (also not a great dynamic with meetings going back-to-back) which usually takes days or longer. I have one idea to share: The Start of my recording a meeting would be much more efficient (I frequently forget to hit “Start Recording” on my watch at the top of the meeting) if my calendar were coordinated with Astari and the app gave me an alert, “Do you want to record this meeting?” five or ten minutes before a calendared meeting began. The speech recognition system is awful, sometimes they miss the sentences, and what's worse, they sometimes miss recognizing important numbers and grades, for example, I say I get A plus, but it recognizing as A) The AI assistant and a summary are also useless, they use some model that seems to be at least two years ago, even have tons of errors when calculating some simple numbers. And they cannot connect with each other components: my AI assistant doesn't even know the existence of my summary and overview in the app. The user interface and user experience is also laggy and awful. What a surprise. Astari, working from the watch, captured a great transcription from a large room with about twenty-five people, even those clear across the room. The transcription was excellent. I work remotely, and all of my meetings are on Microsoft Teams. The transcription can get a little messy as it tries to distinguish different voices, but manually cleaning that has been fairly easy. The Chat function is very helpful in distilling the notes further for Exec Summary and posting purposes. Works nicely on an Apple Watch with the push of the record button. Based on some of my initial outreach, their Customer Service appears to be very responsive too. Highly recommend. ### 5/5 — No Friction. Just Execution. Astari Delivers *2026-03-29* I’ve tested a lot of tools trying to capture ideas, conversations, and action items on the fly, and nothing has been as seamless as using Astari AI Recorder on the Apple Watch. The biggest win is simple. It’s always on me. No extra device. No friction. No thinking. I just raise my wrist, speak, and move on. That alone makes it powerful. What really separates Astari is what happens after the capture. It does not just record. It turns what I say into something usable. Clean summaries. Organized thoughts. Actionable output I can immediately apply to my business. I use it for: • Quick ideas during the day • Notes after calls or meetings • Podcast thoughts on the fly • Reminders that actually turn into execution The speed is what stands out. There is zero delay between thinking something and capturing it. When you operate at a high level, that matters. If you value efficiency, hate carrying extra devices, and want a tool that actually helps you execute, this is it. I can tell you without doubt this is probably the note taking app on the market today. During the 35 minutes, he was typing his findings.  I switched on Astari when I entered his room.  I also switched on Plaud, a competitor of yours to compare.  When I left the doctor I switched off both applications and a few minutes later I had the output.  My doctor had printed his report and handed it to me.  Astari's output was clear, clean and accurate. I like the minimalistic layout and organized structure. The content was comparable to the printed report, but the printed version lacked structure.  Plaud output was equally accurate. For day to day use, at its price point I can only give praise to Astari. I am impressed and I wish I had found this application years sooner.  For professional use you can select many different templates at no additional cost. I use an iPhone but when I suggested Astari to a friend, we realized that it doesn't run on Android yet. Plaud beats Astari on that one.  One extra option I would welcome and is also not available with plaud, is the ability to translate the output.  Both recognize several languages so adding this would save me the time to copy or export the results into Google translate or similar tools, but in that step you lose the neat structure that these applications offer.  There are many similar applications available. Astari doesn't require hardware investment like for instance Plaud and it also offers a one time purchase instead of monthly subscriptions with unlimited use. This is a very compelling reason to consider this application. For good measure, I don't have investments in Astari, nor is there any incentive offered to share this review. ### 5/5 — Great app for notes *2026-03-12* I have used Astari now for several days and it is very accurate and easy to use.
