The plus side of the app is that it does expose you to more questions/concepts than the ASTB Prep app alone, just do your due diligence and use other resources to cross check any answers that the test marks as incorrect. ### 5/5 — Best ASTB app available *2025-10-06, version 1.9* The math portion is the closest to what you’ll encounter on the real test. This app helped me raise my score from a 45 to a 59. The mechanics and nautical/aviation flashcards are exact word for word versions of what’s on the real test. I previously bought two paperback study guides for the exam but this app alone is what made the difference. Don’t sleep on it. ### 1/5 — Deceptive pricing *2025-01-12, version 1.9* You have to pay $15 upfront to purchase the app, then subscribe for $15 monthly. ### 1/5 — Scam *2024-09-24, version 1.8* After paying $15 for the app, they then demand you continue to pay $15 per month JUST to use it. Otherwise you are locked out of all of the lessons. Super misleading and unfair.
