## What is Aster?

Aster brings your Org workspace to iPhone and iPad. Plan your days, manage tasks, and keep a journal while your content stays in your own plain-text files and attachments.

AGENDA AND TASKS
See scheduled tasks, deadlines, events, and repeating habits in a native calendar and timeline. Use TODOs to review open tasks across your agenda files, and Terminal to find completed, cancelled, and other terminal-state tasks. Customize workflow keywords and filtered views without converting your Org source into a proprietary database.

JOURNAL
Write daily entries, add text and media attachments, and browse your journal by date. Select an earlier day to fill in a missed entry. Choose a filename rule that fits your existing workspace.

FILES AND SOURCE
Browse folders and read Org and Markdown documents. View outlines, tables, links, images, and supported mathematical notation. Edit full source while preserving unsupported syntax. Org Babel code is never executed.

YOUR WORKSPACE
Keep files locally or connect iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Nutstore, or a WebDAV server. Choose which folders to sync on this device. Optional Apple Calendar sources display events, and Apple Reminders integration supports reminder synchronization. These integrations require their respective permissions and accounts.

MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION
Downloading Aster and reading existing files are free. An active monthly subscription or introductory trial unlocks creation and editing. Eligible new subscribers can try the subscription free for two weeks. It then renews monthly at the local price shown by Apple unless cancelled. Restore purchases and manage your subscription in Settings > Subscription. Apple determines trial eligibility and billing terms.

If access ends, your files, source, and attachments remain readable. Aster does not delete or move your files because a subscription expires. Existing sync and settings remain available.

No Aster account, advertising, or cross-app tracking.
