## What is Astera Journal?

Astera keeps the reason you started, in your own voice, and brings it back on the mornings you need it.

Answer twelve questions about what you are building, why it matters and who you are when it is going well. Speak them or write them, whichever suits you. Nothing is compulsory, and you can leave any of them open.

What it does with them

A reminder at a time you choose, on the days you choose, carrying one of your own lines rather than a slogan from a stranger.

Affirmations, in the first person and the present tense. 21 lines in seven groups. Keep the ones that are yours, write your own, or borrow one when a question leaves you blank.

Quotes, if you want them. Fourteen packs and 124 lines out of the public domain: the Stoics, scripture, the Tao and the Dhammapada, Emerson, the speeches. Mix them in at the rate you set, or turn them off.

Photographs, with an answer or on their own, gathered on the Vision screen.

A rotation that does not repeat itself. Nothing comes round again while something you have not heard is still waiting.

Sign in with a six digit code sent to your email. There is no password to remember.

Astera is free. There is nothing to buy inside it and no advertising.

Your recordings are yours. Delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, at any time.

Astera is the companion to the Astera journal at asterajournal.com.
