This might well be a good recreation of a classic game but the control scheme makes it almost unplayable. I bought this as part of a bundle and, like the other games in that bundle, It really needs support for MFi compliant game controllers; I have one but sadly it is ignored. I think, with a separate game controller, (plus maybe a rethink of the touch controls) it could be everything I’d want it to be, but until that happens it is, for me, disappointing. (I’ll happily update my review or post a new one if updates as I’ve described come along, as it could be so good.)

Long time player of Asteroid’s, this has no left/right rotate control it is therefore useless for gameplay, don’t buy unless they fix this.

Totalement injouable, pour faire tourner le vaisseau il faut tapoter vers l’angle où l’on veux tirer. Aucune possibilité de le faire tourner sans tirer, ni même qu’il pivote tout simplement à la manière d’une aiguille de montre. Nul, n’achetez pas vous serez déçu, c’est vraiment se fiche des acheteurs.

I feel ripped off now. While a faithful recreation it is utterly unplayable. I’ve bought 2 bundles and all games are unplayable. Seeing as this is 3 years old I’m not holding my breath for updates. Apple should ban this app developer form the App Store as these “games” are clearly designed to take your money and not give you what you paid for.

**Developer response:** Easy Controls, screen touch at position where yo like the ship fires, if you slide the ship moves. Watch the video preview in App store.

So ein schönes altes Spiel! 
Leider fehlt die Information, das die Steuerung so gut wie gar nicht funtioniert.
Die 2,49 € hätte ich auch in den Müll werfen können !!!

pour tirer sur les cibles, il faut cliquer sur la cible. Même principe pour déplacer le vaisseau il faut l'orienter en cliquant à l'endroit ou on veut qu'il aille et on glisse le pouce gauche vers le haut pour que le vaisseau avance.

@Ivan, I just translated in French what you answered to the the issuer of the negative feedback.
IMO a "twin stick" would be more suitable for this kind of game.

I can't believe it took so many years for someone to do a perfect clone of the real game but it was totally worth the wait!!!    Thanks!!!   It's GREAT!!!

The developer has captured Asteroids to a tee. The sound effects, gameplay are great.
The controls are very well done and allow you to easily control your ship.
For those that played this game at the arcade you will find it to be exactly what you remember it to be minus all the quarters that it cost to play.

A very fun and easy game to control but 2 problems:
1) i think your space ship is to small. If you make it bigger then the graphics are better. Then you should make the UFO and the asteroids bigger as well.
2) some times my ship tilt controller gets stuck and I can not tilt it.

P.S. To all players, if you go in the corner of the screen, and you stay there, it is a secret spot and you do not get hit!=)

It crashes after every time when it goes to hi-scores. Therefore, my scores dont save. FIX PLEASE. It would be 5 stars. Im disappointed.
