I absolutely love it! I’m a huge indie gamer and I also love playing very old and niche games. This game is definitely worth a try! I also love old school games like this and I’m happy they’re still being developed. I unfortunately did not grow up in an era where game graphics were like this so games like Astria really help me get a feel of what old school grpahics were like (besides 8/16 bit graphics). I dropped another star because as of 3/7/26 my rogue is using a bow and arrow but the multishot ability now only fires one arrow making impossible to kill mobs…. ### 2/5 — Hard stuck 5 minutes in *2025-11-16* I like the visuals and style of this game, but I ultimately gave up 5 minutes into it. Played as a cleric, ended up at a boss with no potions (and I found no way to farm any because nothing respawned). The character moves to slowly to avoid being hit, so you lasted longer as a mage to stand there and take hits rather than dodge, the boss was stronger than me and I couldn't heal so I died. but again, couldn't farm levels anywhere. Also, when I died I had the option to watch an ad to resurrect, which ended up being two ads, not just one, and afterwards the game bugged out and I couldn't attack or use any spells, so I just died again. **Developer response:** Hey Gatorman, sorry that happened to you. The ad bug has been fixed in the latest update. Regarding the respawn of enemies, you need to save and exit. I'll try to make the early game experience a bit better, apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for the feedback! ### 3/5 — Good for now *2026-07-09, version 1.0.48.2* When I put things in my storage especially gems they disappear it doesn’t show up and I have out quite a few I’m bumbed out please help fix ### 3/5 — ? My only gripe is the HUD, it cuts off on some areas and it seems clunky. Other than that, great game! The highest rating is the fact it’s entirely free to play, there’s a lot of content for a free game and it does not provide forced advertising, pay to win or time gated events. The UI is very clunky and could use a lot of work, it does not seem to fit well with some phone models. That said, it’s easy to forgive given it’s done by one person. The UI can be modified to your liking, but it’s still the main drawback. Keep it up! I’m grateful for it and have made a donation! ### 4/5 — I’m having fun in here. *2026-07-03, version 1.0.48.2* Only complaint I have is the size of scripts on my phone, for item pickup. The game need work, some quick fix could be done. But since I liked the original better anyway, it’s a fun look back. ### 5/5 — If You Like Exiled Realms *2026-07-25* This game is cool so far. I recognize the graphic cosmetics for the character from playing The Quest, and the enemies, worlds, and sound FX are identical to Exiled Realms. Both games are among my favorite mobile RPGs, so this game is addicting so far. I’ve only got past the first world, so still fresh in it. The loot and leveling up progress is reasonably paced so far, so it’s not a painful grind (yet). Not having a mandatory paywall is nice, but I also paid for the no ads option, which was only $5, so it was worth it. My main criticism is in the size of the text—it’s tiny. I have to sometimes take screenshots to zoom in to see what it says, but I’m also playing on my phone, which makes it all smaller.
