I understand money management is apart of the game but I find it exceptional difficult keep your star players. I’ve only ever won one “super bowl” but after that I’m consistently at 8-8 ish even with QB, 2 WR, 2 LB and 2 S all being 88+ rating which to me is so stupid because I’m going against teams with defensive ratings in the low 60’s. It’s very frustrating how games are determined. The salary cap is also insanely difficult and frustrating and you need to win in order to get bonuses. ### 3/5 — Good game, needs fixes. *2021-01-09* I’m playing on an iPhone XS Max. This game isn’t quite made for the phone. All the buttons at the bottom of the screen are right where the home swipe is so it makes it difficult when trying to navigate through the menu. It’s hard to manage especially because we can’t see what the cap is and there’s no way to ensure that you will keep your stars. Thanks for the review! ### 3/5 — Promising, but poorly done *2020-11-30* This game is fun until you realize how limited it is. The salary cap is too low to keep anyone around and that includes your drafted rookies. Rookies only have a one year deal and they sign at their value. Sign a star rookie WR? You have a year before your losing close to probably 50% of your extension budget for the year. The reason I quit playing because I quite simply can’t win against inferior teams. We’re not talking a few stat points, we’re talking an overall 75 team vs. an 87 overall team and the 75 crushes the better team every time. I cannot tell you have many games I lost 41-3 to a team that had won 1 game and was a 70 tops. Also, your team gets filled in with basically free guys and they’re either garbage or better than your first rounders. There is no middle ground. By far the dumbest game ever I’d rather watch paint dry than to continue entertaining your garbage app ### 2/5 — Maybe I’m dumb or something idk *2021-11-22* So the first season went well and then my quarterback retired which was fine. I had a backup and he went on the roster but then the next season playing the first three games my offense didn’t do anything, no passing yards and basically no running. I checked the stats on the quarterback and he has no stats. I then traded to get another quarterback to see if I could switch them out and it would fix but it hasn’t. What is wrong? ### 2/5 — Good idea, poor execution *2020-12-07* I like the general idea and layout of the game. However, it is extremely poorly balanced. A salary cap of $100 million doesn’t make any sense, especially when you have to resign your best players if you want to improve, but they’re between $10-15 million a piece. After 6-7 of those players you can fit a few smaller contracts and then a few $1 million contracts and that’s it. I tried trading for $0 contracts, which shouldn’t exist in the first place, but even then it’s not worth it because you have to give better players away then you could hope to get in return because if you’re trading one of your big contracts away, you don’t need a player from that same position typically. I could go on and on about why the salary cap and player signings just don’t work, but with some tweaks that can of course be fixed. The drafting in the game isn’t the worst. I would like an option to either have my scouts automatically scout the players for me or just get some thoughts about the players in the draft, which I do rather I have a account or not. Great concepts, could use a little work in implementation. I enjoy the idea of building shops in your stadium to attract fans and the such. I don’t have much to complain about that. That’s an area I think was executed fairly well, but it’s a minor part of the game, so I can’t really give it too much weight. Once again, great ideas, I just think they could be executed better. This game is too difficult and unbalanced as is. My main suggestions are to increase the salary cap and remove $0 contracts, then rework the range players seek in contracts and it should balance the game quite a bit. ### 3/5 — Getting Sacked On Run Plays *2023-01-25* The game is good, just started playing yesterday and i would be lying if I said I haven’t enjoyed it, once getting used to it. There are some things to be fixed. My biggest issue is running a run play and somehow getting sacked…and even worse fumbling. That is completely unrealistic and needs to be swapped out for maybe a loss of yards or something. Posing it as a sack makes it seem a little too fake. Also add more descriptive stats for each player, such as how many receiving yards a receiver has for the season as well as the game. I also understand some features are missing since it’s new some here is some Ideas. #1: Updated overall rankings: I feel as if some of the players overall rating look a little bit out of date. Not accurate at all too how they play irl. I also know you don’t like ratings because I what I just said. So do you. #2: Stats I feel like what makes your games special are the stats. Stats and winning are the main points of the game. So I should be able to see how many yards and catches a WR has made after the game. Defensive players I should be able to see if the got a interception, a sack, tackles, and tackles for loss after games. You get the point. #3: And finally the draft, I just think it should be more versatile, especially for QB’s, you could make it all a mixture of colors, make some all green and let there overall very from being trash to really good. This should be applied to all positions so some players can be jacks of all trades and not just good at one things. ### 3/5 — Not a good or accurate situation *2021-01-10* The game itself is decent enough. There’s a bit of variety when it comes to play calling and some aspects later on seem interesting like the draft. I just don’t see this as a very good or accurate simulation of what football really is. No matter what passing play I use the defense will always expect it and my good-for-nothing QB will throw it away... without fail. Meanwhile the defense gives up 7 yard pass plays like there’s no tomorrow. It’s completely unbalanced and doesn’t feel like an accurate simulation. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Amazing but could use one thing *2021-09-13* So this game is exactly the type of game I’ve been looking for, however I do have some ideas that I believe could make the game better. So when playing games I feel it’s very difficult to play defense. If there some way to indicate more or less what the offense may run or the way they line up to give the user an idea of what play to run and the same can go for offense. I do have other ideas however I feel that’s the main one! But this game is AMAZING! I love the simplicity and the fact that there’s no wait times for in game things like building shops! The game is easy to understand but it’s a bit hard to keep track of your coaches and practice squad. Also I was Tampa bay and we legit were undefeated cause I was so good at the game and had played 4 seasons. I still lost in the super bowl... Good game. And the game itself is really interesting and addicting and I really do recommend this game. Also I had read the reviews of this game and other games and I have to say I’m really impressed with the creators with reading the feedback and fixing the bugs in the game.
