Holidays only make up a fraction of the year, so the accent lighting the rest of the year was the most important feature for me. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — great lights horrible app *2026-07-28* the app constantly crashes, won’t let you login and then after multiple attempts to login the app tells you that you have logged in too many times today and you never logged in. the light colors don’t match and you can’t save your favorite pattern and color to the timer. so when you do finally get logged in and it doesn’t crash and after you get the color and pattern saved you still have to switch it to what u want when it comes on. again the lights look great but the app definitely need some improvements. ### 1/5 — New App Awful *2026-06-14* This updated app is definitely a major disappointment. Like don’t take up half the screen with a picture of a house that does nothing. Done delete all my favorites when releasing a new version. Make it more intuitive to create new scenes and test them out. Make it easy to copy and rename. User experience needs refinement. The timer for sunrise and sunset gets messed up. There needs to be option for setting lights location. We absolutely love the way they give our house a totally different look. There are so many color options to choose from. I change the program about every 2 weeks, it’s so fun. If you’re considering adding outdoor lights, I definitely recommend Astoria! ### 5/5 — Great Lighting and Service *2026-04-07* After receiving quotes and visiting installations from three vendors in our area I chose to go with Astoria. Quotes were all within 2% of each other, but when we looked at reference properties the Astoria installations were our preference. From the quote process through the installation everyone involved was professional, knowledgeable, and customer focused. I’ll note that I do have occasional issues with the app but tech support is easy to contact and quick to resolve.
