## What is Astral Poker?

Poker, but the void is keeping score.

Your ship runs on credits. Credits come from poker hands. Run out, and you drift.

Astral Poker is a roguelite built on five-card draw. Every sector sets a target score. Every failed hand burns fuel you can't get back for free. Clear the sector or die trying — and the shop in between is where runs are won and lost.

BUILD A BROKEN DECK
Buy illegal modules that rewrite the rules. Make flushes pay double. Turn every seven into a multiplier. Stack Gold, Holo and Polychrome cards until a pair of fours outscores a straight. Seventeen modules, and you'll never fit them all into one run.

SPEND OR STARVE
Fuel costs money. So do modules. So does rerolling a shop that has nothing you want. Prices climb every sector, and the wrong purchase in sector three is the reason you die in sector six.

TEN SECTORS. MOST PILOTS SEE FOUR.
From the Training Sim to the Galactic Core, the targets grow faster than you do. Finishing is genuinely difficult and genuinely possible — roughly one run in four for a pilot who knows what they're holding.

PERMANENT PROGRESSION
Every run pays out Stardust, win or lose. Spend it in the Hangar on a bigger tank, a fatter starting wallet, or free rerolls — upgrades that carry into every future run.

Fixes and quality of life:

- The shop no longer raises its prices when you reroll. Rerolling now costs what it says it costs.
- Fuel is charged the price shown on the tile.
- Eight module cards were understating what they do. Suit and orbit mods give +3 Mult, Even Tide and Odd Star give +50 Chips - the cards now say so. Nothing changed about how they score.
- The tutorial no longer runs off the bottom of the screen on landscape phones.
- New: share a run from the recap screen.
- New: an optional hold advisor, off by default, in Settings.

- Card Buffs: Holo cards (+70 Chips) and Polychrome cards (+90 Chips) are now much more powerful.
- Reroll Logic: "Shopkeeper's Bribe" (Free Rerolls) is now a Per-Run perk, and paid rerolls have a steeper cost curve.
- Shop Changes: Rerolls are now locked after making a non-fuel purchase to prevent "fishing."

User Interface & Polish:
- Native Optimization: Streamlined "Comm-Link" integration for seamless iOS experience.
- Visuals: Added comma formatting to all scores/prices for readability.
- Assets: New custom achievement icons.
