Do what I should have check for reviews before you upgrade. It now crashes rather than launches a game This was one of my favourites, and I don't like the update at all. The second update fixed some of the issues, but it just seems clunky. The team truly tries to figure out what’s happening and fix it. If you’re having a problem, I strongly encourage you to reach out to them via their internal messaging feature. I love the variety of solitaire games, though I do wish that Calculation was more winnable! 😉 ### 1/5 — Glitchy so bad I lost the whole app! *2018-12-12* So I download and play every game and had over 30 gold cards etc... I accidentally bumped the messages button today where it tried to get me to download another app from the developer. It become stuck on that screen. I completely closed the app, and it still was stuck on that page. Rebooted my phone, same. Then thought well I’ll just have to start from scratch on the gold cards :(. So I deleted the app to start from scratch... and now I CANT EVEN DOWNLOAD THE APP! It still says ‘open’ instead of a download prompt! Very glitchy software to a great game! So discouraged and disappointed in the developers but the game is great other than the programming problems. Do not hit messages! ### 1/5 — Telling me to purchase again for ad free and unlimited lifes *2018-08-02* So I purchased this game a long time ago and everything was fine but now it's asking me to buy your premium version so that I don't have to wait for lifes. I used to enjoy playing more than just 3 games per day. I hate this new limit. ### 1/5 — Too many glitches! *2020-03-25* I play 2 suited spider mostly. Had a 4500+ game winning streak and app reset the statistics. Thanks! Game isn’t very intuitive and it will tell you, “Game Over” when you clearly have plenty of moves left. Needs work big time! ### 1/5 — Great App has been ruined. *2019-10-11* I’ve had this app for years and loved it. It started malfunctioning so I had to reload it from the App Store. But what downloaded was awful. First, it wants me to repay for updated version, although they have not changed the game itself. Moreover it is full of ads (ads in a Paid application?) and if you want to reach customer support, it requires you give them personal information first so they can (and I quote) “Select appropriate adverts from Google, Facebook and other partner companies.” Jeez, I think I’ll pass. ### 1/5 — Got even worse! *2019-10-06* Wow. (I know developers have the option to reset the review counters with a new version, but why wouldn’t that wipe out all old reviews?) I want an answer from support that explains why I have to pay for an app that I purchased years ago, and what exactly does Restore Purchases mean. It does nothing for me. I’ve asked several times and the developers are silent. Used to be my favorite game on the palm platform. However, after the latest update I can’t play Spider because the cards are too tiny. I miss my game! Hope you’re working on this bug. I play on an iPhone 8 iOS version 14.6. ### 5/5 — The Best-Keeps Getting Better! *2021-05-07* I've been playing this game for years, started on my first Palm, and it just gets better and better. The new upgrade makes it more fun and personal. You can customize your cards, the background, and even adjust the rules. I didn't realize how useful that would be until my grandchild started to play. Tweaking the rules to increase the likelihood of winning makes it more approachable for him. It allows him to win enough to want more. The more he plays, the more he learns how to see potential moves and probabilities as he plays. All in all, a well- planned and beautifully designed game. Just what you'd expect from Astraware! Easy to customise with plenty of options to change the appearance and difficulty of every game. Suitable for novice and expert solitaire fans. Easily the best solitaire app for iPad. Intuitive and comprehensive help and instructions. What’s not to like. I applaud the developers and thank them!!!!!! ### 5/5 — Great app *2020-10-25* I have been using this app almost daily for over 10 years. I find it relaxing and stimulating. Thus I play it while ready to go to bed or when ready to wake up. I have played thousands of times (I’m retired😊) and it has always worked. Very recently a small bug started where a card was taking up a spot in the tableau but was not identified. The game still worked but I reported it and it was fixed in short order. The app does everything I want and gives options that are good for learning a new game (there are 12) or to make a game more interesting. For example just last month in Klondike I allowed any card versus just kings in the empty tableau column. Changed the game a lot and winning went from approximately 9% of the time to maybe 14%. My strategy changed too. So I highly recommend the game and too bad some apparently have had issues and hence the lower ratings. ### 5/5 — Update Great *2020-02-07* This developer makes AWESOME games and the new update just got even better. A must have if you like card games as graphics and card movement is really nice on the iPhone and IPAD. A recent update caused some problems but was fixed with a update within couple of days. Great support. ### 5/5 — My favorite game(s)! *2018-08-10* I have been playing Astraware games since they were writing them fo the PalmOS devices. Graphics are excellent, play is smooth, and I can set the difficulty low enough to teach my grandkids how to play them. I get them hooked using a real deck of cards on the coffee table, then switch them over to Astraware on their phones Since getting my current phone a couple years ago, I have a streak in Free Cell that is almost 15,000 consecutive wins with no losses. Golden Deck took about 10 days of intense play to achieve.
