## What is Astron Skyfinder?

The comprehensive astronomy app that makes it super easy to find the most beautiful celestial objects.

No matter whether you look at the sky with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope: Astron shows you exactly which direction to look in order to see falling stars, constellations, the sun, the moon, planets, interesting stars, star clusters, nebulae and galaxies.

In addition, the app has a variety of useful calendrical and astronomical functions:

1. When the next moon phases are.

2. The times of sunrise, sunset and twilight

3. The exact times of the beginning of the seasons.

4. The current sidereal times.

5. The shortest distance between any two places along the earth's surface.

Sehr gut gemacht! Ich konnte den hellen Punkt am Himmel mit der App sofort als Jupiter erkennen. Auch sehr hilfreich sind die vielen Zusatzinformationen.

I honestly can’t recommend this game. It’s clear that the developers put in very little effort, and the game is riddled with limitations that make it nearly impossible to enjoy. There’s barely any content to explore, and the one feature that’s actually worth doing—stargazing—requires you to pay to unlock anything meaningful. If you want a proper stargazing experience, you’ll be forced to spend money, which just feels like a blatant cash grab.

The whole game feels lazy. It’s essentially a grind for no real reward. You’re locked into a single, repetitive activity with no real depth or creativity. The mechanics are super limited, and there’s no incentive to keep playing after a while. Honestly, it’s just a bad, low-effort cash grab masquerading as a space game.

Save your time, and definitely save your money. This game isn’t worth it.

**Developer response:** ASTRON IS NOT A GAME! There is obviously a misunderstanding that you think this App is a game. It’s not! Astron is an scientific App that shows you the right direction to observe the most beautiful celestial objects. If you are looking for a game, Astron is definitely not the right App and, therefore, Astron is not listed as game App in the App Store.

Wirklich sehr, sehr schön gemachte App, besonders die Anzeige und die Bilder der Planeten und der Deep Sky Objekte. Tolle Idee und einfach zu nutzen. Ich konnte heute sofort den Jupiter identifizieren!

Ich habe mir die App runtergeladen um zu schauen ob Sternschnuppen zu sehen sind und dann sehe ich dass ich dafür zahlen muss. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht. ich finde es sehr schade dass man für so etwas zahlen muss. ich kann mir eigentlich nur anschauen wann die Sonne aufgeht und wieder untergeht. Außerdem sehe ich die Feiertage was ich sehr unnötig finde da das eigentlich nicht so eine App ist. Der Kompass ist auch nicht zu gebrauchen da er die ganze Zeit bei mir rumspinnt.

Unglaublich mit wieviel Liebe zum Detail Dr. Schulz hier vorgegangen ist. Wer die Himmelsscheibe von Nebra verehrt, muss diese App lieben. In Ihr findet man das ganze Wissen um die Berechnung der Zeit aus den Himmelskörpern und andersherum deren Auftauchen in eine App gepackt. Dank und Respekt für dieses Werk.

Ich höre gerade Atoms von Uppermost und entdecke dazu Astron. Passt perfekt zusammen. Die ideale App, um den Nachthimmel zu erkunden und zur Musik Sternschnuppen zu beobachten. Einfach zu bedienen, informativ und auch für Neulinge auf dem Gebiet der Astronomie gut geeignet, um erste Erfahrungen zu sammeln. Ein Wolkenloser Nachthimmel und Astron, perfekter Abend!
