They told her to start a trial, send proof, and promised to amend the subscription afterward. She followed every step — sent her official local‑authority letter — and then they simply vanished. No confirmation, no reply. The same rep kept emailing her generic “enjoy your trial!” messages while her account sat ready to be charged at full price. Every serious company verifies before payment. Astropad’s approach seems to be “pay first, maybe we’ll care later.” It’s careless, misleading, and completely inappropriate when dealing with a student.
