## What is AstroReady?

AstroReady helps you know when the sky is worth it.

Check local stargazing conditions at a glance, including cloud cover, daylight timing, darkness estimates, and upcoming night forecasts. AstroReady combines weather, sunrise and sunset timing, light pollution estimates, and object visibility so you can decide whether tonight is a good night to head outside.

See which planets, constellations, and deep-sky objects are visible from your location, when they rise and set, and how practical they are to observe. 

Whether you have a telescope, binoculars, or just want to look up, AstroReady gives you a clear answer before you step outside.

• Moon-aware guidance helps identify when bright moonlight could affect faint targets.
• A new multi-night outlook highlights the next promising observing opportunity.
• Viewing windows and charts now use the selected location’s local time.

- Hour-by-hour cloud coverage: See how cloud cover is expected to change throughout the night with a new hourly forecast graph.
- Object altitude graphs: Open an object's details to see its altitude in the night sky hour by hour and find the best time to observe it.

New guided visual observing sessions. Choose how long you want to stay out, then AstroReady walks you through a few well-timed targets one at a time with practical prompts for what to notice. Astrophotography planning is still built in too.
