## What is AstroSpell?

AstroSpell is a space-themed word mission game that turns spelling practice into a galaxy journey.

Reveal astronomy words, manage oxygen, survive hazards, collect star coins, unlock achievements, and learn real space facts as you progress. The app includes campaign levels, a deterministic daily challenge, Spell-It recall mode, spoken word pronunciation, spaced-repetition review, accessibility-friendly typography, and a Mission Control learning hub.

Version 1.3 adds Today's Flight Plan in Mission Control. The app reviews your local progress, missed words, review queue, and accuracy to recommend the best next session: Recovery Run, Spell-It, Campaign, or Daily Challenge. It also shows focus words, estimated practice time, and the category most worth reviewing.

New in 1.4: the Star Codex — a browsable library of every word in the galaxy. Search and filter by category, revisit each discovered word's hint and science fact, check your mastery level, and hear any word pronounced or spelled out letter by letter. Plus new Practice Missions: launch a focused five-word recall session on any category, built automatically from the words you find hardest. Also fixes a small button-label wrapping issue during missions.

Version 1.3 adds Today's Flight Plan in Mission Control. AstroSpell now recommends the best next practice mode from local progress, missed words, review due dates, and accuracy, with focus words and estimated practice time.

This update unlocks the astronomy knowledge that was previously trapped behind a single fleeting overlay - and adds the endless, play-on-your-terms mode players have asked for.

Star Codex - your offline astronomy library. Browse all 171 of AstroSpell's curated entries in one place. Search across terms, hints, and facts; filter by any of the 11 categories; and sort by storyline, A->Z, or difficulty. Every word you've decoded - in the campaign, the Daily Challenge, or Free Play - reveals its full, hand-written science fact. Words you haven't cracked yet stay hidden so nothing gets spoiled. Everything you'd already cleared is filled in automatically the moment you update.

Free Play (Endless mode). A brand-new, unlimited run on a single tank of oxygen - no campaign gating, no daily cap. Pick a difficulty band (Warm-Up, Standard, Expert, or Mixed); words never repeat until you've seen them all. Your best score and longest run are tracked for each band.

Five new achievements. Three "Archivist" milestones for decoding 25, 75, and every entry in the Star Codex, plus two badges for long Endless runs.

Everything stays fully offline - no account, no subscription, no ads, no tracking.
