## What is ASW DVI?

ASW DVI brings AutoSoftWay's digital vehicle inspections to the shop floor. Technicians run a full inspection from a phone or tablet at the bay, so findings are recorded where the work happens instead of being written down and typed in later.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Vehicles
Scan a VIN with the camera to pull up a vehicle, or add one by hand. Everything stays linked to the customer record.

Clients
Find an existing customer or add a new one without leaving the app.

Inspections
Start an inspection from one of your shop's templates, work through the checklist item by item, and record the result for each point. Browse past inspections and open any of them for the full detail.

Templates and checklists
Inspections follow the templates your shop already uses, so the process on the phone matches the process on the desktop.

Everything written here syncs with the AutoSoftWay platform, so the service advisor sees the inspection as the technician completes it, and anything changed on the desktop appears here.

• Home, Start New DVI, and the checklist picker now follow dark mode — no more white panels or hard-to-read text.
• Status badges, chips, and loading placeholders tuned for dark backgrounds.
• Saved email and password no longer appear as white boxes when signing in.
• One consistent header color across every list screen.

Inspection editor: the title no longer wraps, and Save, Exit, and Complete now sit on their own row.
