I don’t have time for that! Most times I record before I go to work so then after work I can edit! This app just does not do well for video recording and I BERY disappointed because I have done a lot of editing. It’s great if you already have a video recorded and put in a flash drive but recording from the app and having to wait for it to upload so I can edit it on desktop is not worth the HOURS UPON HOIRS. Plus I have to keep my phone open the ENTIRE time!?? Then I used the desktop app to invite and record the episode, which was 2 hours, but my episode has been stuck at 0% upload for 2 days now. I’m giving it 2 stars because the suite of tools is good, but if I can’t even get the episode uploaded then that’s moot. I’ll revise this review if the problem gets resolved ### 1/5 — Screen rotation not available *2025-08-03* No option to select screen views styles ### 1/5 — Scammy Experience. Misleading Free Trial and got charged anyway *2025-07-10, version 4.1.3* I used the free trial and canceled before it ended. I got an email from them saying I could only use it until July 6th, but I was still charged on that same day. I contacted them and showed the email, but they still refused to give me a refund. This feels unfair and confusing. You have to sign up for a subscription to test the app under the guise of a 7 day free trial. I sent an email less than 24 hours after download as it did not work for my project. They went ahead and processed the entire 1 year subscription and refuse a refund for an app I will not even use. You cannot cancel from the app on your phone, they did not send any reminder emails that they were going to charge at the end of 7 days and I assumed the cancellation was processed with my email. ### 1/5 — Do n to sign up for free trial *2026-04-04, version 6.0.3* Besides being utterly unusable, you will also get a surprise charge of close to 300 dollars, after canceling the free trial and customer service will refuse to refund and cancel account even when contacted same day. ### 1/5 — Problem ridden app *2026-03-05, version 6.0.2* We moved from Riverside over to Async. We only signed up for the month and we are lucky because the app is bug ridden. Broken links that won’t work for guests. We spent hours trying to get it working for a trial, finally getting others on the screen. We sent links for the real recording and had nothing but failure again. We never ended up getting one recording before we had to accept it was not worth any more time. Don’t bother with this app, it’s a waste of time! ### 1/5 — Update to Async *2026-01-25, version 6.0.0* Don’t know if it’s a bug or glitch or what but when I updated, none of the buttons (forward, close, pause, etc) will work. As of right this second this app is unusable. ### 1/5 — Scam, TRASH and Absolutely Unreasonable. Do NOT use their 7 Day Trial *2026-01-16, version 5.0.3* Results weren’t good so I deleted my account and stopped after one use, only to find out from my bank that I got charged $200+. Contacted them and they refuse ti issue my refund due to their idiotic policy, regardless if minds were changed or purely by accident. On top of that, you CANNOT cancel via app or mobile and only desktop to make that change, so you’re completely screwed if you don’t have access to a laptop/computer. Complete rubbish and backwards business model. Never been soo heated before ### 1/5 — I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME! *2025-12-18, version 5.0.2* HORIBLE APP ON WEBSITE IT SAYS I CAN EDIT A RECORDING I DOWNLOAD APP & CANT EDIT ANY AUDIO !!! ### 1/5 — Run away. *2025-10-23, version 5.0.0* Just read the reviews before you even try it, I should have. I signed up for a free trial that would end up with a year subscrition of the pro plan ($280). While I was out of state I got the notification email that the trial was going to end so I downloaded the app and tried to cancel, and it told me to go to the site so using my phone I go to the site and there is nowhere to cancel. When I got back I had been charged the year fee and I emailed them. They got back to me saying there are no refunds, and since I signed up on a laptop I'd have to cancel using a laptop. I said it is 2025, what company makes you do this and makes it so you can't cancel on your phone?! They agreed to give me a partial refund after I complained and said "As an exception, we will retain one month’s subscription fee along with the processing fee, and refund the rest." This ended up costing me $50. I went to login again under the impression that with that $50 I'd at least have a 1 month pro membership, but no. They got back to me saying it's just a fee, that it did not get me any month membership. So they have taken $50 and I got nothing out of it. This made them seem pretty desperate for money, and pretty terrible customer service policies. ### 1/5 — Extremely confusing *2025-09-21, version 4.2.0* I’m sitting here trying to record a personal GoFundMe video and I consider myself of average intelligence may be a little bit more, but I’m finding the use of this tool perplexing ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-09-19, version 4.2.0* I did subscribe and the app is not what I expected i tried login to cancel the subscription but it doesn’t wanna login i can even cancel i tried sending emails but the service is poor now i have to order for a new card. Why waste your money why be frustrated just by someone else's product ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — amazing but one tiny bug *2026-07-10, version 6.0.5* I was able to create a couple of amazing voices, including one good enough to make about two hours of content so far. There is just a very odd bug where it will not say the word yes at the beginning of a few phrases that I’ve tried to punch in. I guess I can try it at the end, just wanted to let you know. Thank you. Update: it won’t say it at the end either. I guess it’s just specific to the word yes. Thank you for looking into it. P.S. I was sorry to see somebody else get automatically build for the seven day trial but like any other trial, you need to immediately cancel before you forget about it and then get socked with charges. It was really good but I think they should add it to maybe more people should be able to do it like me and my friends I had three friends who wanted to play do it and we tried, but it didn’t allow three peoplebut overall it it’s great.
