## What is At the Counter?

Welcome to At the Counter.

Life can be heavy. Sometimes you need more than another place to scroll. You need a place where you can slow down, catch your breath, and remember you don't have to walk through life alone.

At the Counter is an online Christian community created by Laura Sharp-Waites, The Baking Pastor. Inspired by the conversations that naturally happen around a kitchen counter, this is a place where faith and everyday life meet with honesty, grace, and hope.

Inside you'll find:

• Encouragement rooted in Scripture
• Genuine conversations about grief, healing, faith, and life's unexpected changes
• Prayer and support from a caring community
• Weekly reflections and soul care resources
• Discussions connected to At the Counter with The Baking Pastor podcast
• Bible reading opportunities and book discussions
• Online retreats and special community events

You don't have to have everything figured out before you join us.

Whether you're carrying grief, feeling emotionally exhausted, searching for hope, or simply longing for a place where you can be yourself, there's a seat waiting for you.

This isn't about having all the answers.

It's about walking together, encouraging one another, and discovering God's presence in both the ordinary and the difficult moments of life.

The counter is open.

Pull up a chair.

We're glad you're here.
