It works great while I’m using it and then I try again a day later - it just keeps pending and then closing. I have to delete it and redownload, then it works. It’s been happening for this entire season! Both on my phone and on my tablet. Super frustrating - it’s now a last resort for checking, hoping it’ll be fixed soon!! **Developer response:** Hi. New version coming out in a few days. So far I’ve not had that “immediate crash” issue occur. There is a new version of the environment I use, so hoping that solved it for keeps. ### 2/5 — Needs updating. *2025-03-09* Always so slow to update. Sometimes meets aren't listed, sometimes sessions aren't listed. Sometimes I can go through a whole meet and never get any data. We are 45 minutes into our session and no new sessions are loading, so frustrating! Happens every meet. **Developer response:** Hi Ryann721, i wish i could improve this, but this means the websites that upload the data have not done it yet. And speed will be slower with MyUSAGym meets (tagged as UG) due to the structure. When I access their website it is very unreliable. ### 3/5 — Update?.. *2024-03-05* Update: if I leave the white screen for awhile - truly awhile, like 10-15minutes once then the main screen comes up! (even as a background app, so that is good) So it works, it’s just taking a while to upload everything. There’s nothing to denote the fact that it’s working, just largely delayed, so it leads to frustration in that regard. Hope that you’re able to deduce the issue, but knowing that it eventually comes around is a relief! I do enjoy this up Original Review: Up until about a month ago, I’d give it a 4*’s…. But now It won’t open! It’s just a blank white screen, and nothing comes up. Please help! **Developer response:** Update: wow, I’ve never waited that long to see if it eventually shows the data. Your information may help me troubleshoot in the future. I still encourage you to delete the app and reinstall. Nothing about the data should take more than 30 seconds. ### 3/5 — A little disappointed *2024-03-04* First day I downloaded the app and used it during my daughters meet I was super excited. Takes a little to navigate the app but once you figure it out it’s easy to use and has amazing features. However I went back to the meet later the same day to support our other girls on a different level and the app gave me a white blank screen. It’s now been two days since and I’m still getting the blank screen… now I’m disappointed… **Developer response:** Hi, a few others have stated this. The app is working. I don’t know why this happens. If you delete the app and reinstall that should fix it. I heard this one would be more reliable, but when I searched for my gymnast, I couldn’t find all her scores. I could only find scores from 2 of the 4 meets in which she competed. There were scores for the xcel program from one of the other meets, but not DP. Am I doing something wrong is this a woman’s only app? WA 2024 ICF challenge didn’t show. ### 3/5 — Not a comprehensive list *2024-01-20* I was very excited to try this app as it received great reviews from the gymnastics community, however I have since found that many of our meets across a variety of states are not accessible thereby making this app useless for the season. The concept and organization was great for the one meet we were able to use it for. There is no search function that I can see and many screens don’t work. The UI is not great, though ok for only $4 if it actually worked. There are no refunds allowed. Should offer at least a two day free trial before buying this so people can see what it looks like before. The idea is great but it’s not good at all. Missing meets that are online too. **Developer response:** Hi Karslaw. Sorry you had a bad experience. What meet were you looking at? I updated the latest version to not load meets that are empty. Love this App! ### 5/5 — Easy to go to the meet *2023-03-12* I found it much easier to get the the meet you’re at than the meetscoresonline website. It does rely on the same data as meetscoresonline so if you’re at a meet and that website isn’t updated, this app won’t help you. I appreciated the fast app support when I had an issue. I wish we could favorite gymnasts faster. Like favorite everyone on our team… **Developer response:** Hi Javaluva2, I can look at adding a feature to favorite a gym…or all gymnasts from a gym. ### 5/5 — So far best app for the gymnastic meets *2022-01-15* This is the best app I’ve seen for gymnastics meets. I do wish you can save gymnasts to follow through all their meets, so it’s not good as a record keeping app, but for following a meet, it’s great! A couple things, if my iPhone is in dark mode, I can not see anything in this app. I first have to turn off dark mode. I also can’t seem to figure out how to go back to a previous view when I click on a girls name. I always have to start over (pick sessions etc). Otherwise it’s a great app for gymnastic parents! **Developer response:** UPDATE: I added a feature to only show meets associated with your favorited gymnasts. Hi. There is a feature to mark a gymnast as a favorite. But it’s used to filter after you have selected a meet. One other feature that is not advertised well or obvious is that you can see their history of past meets in one list. When you tap on an individual gymnast and you see their standings for the current meet, you can select the triple bars next to their name and it will show their past meets. Found one bug, when looking at a meet and then selecting a gymnast - if I select History, nothing populates on the screen that opens. Although, when I start at the Home Screen, select Favorites , select my gymnast at the bottom - that view populates with the historic scores. It would be fantastic if I could get to the gymnast history while viewing a meet. **Developer response:** Hi, I tried to replicate and could not. My android friends are not experiencing this🤷‍♀️ ### 4/5 — Some meets not listed *2024-01-20* The meet I want to look at today in WA state not listed ### 4/5 — Great App to Track Meets *2024-01-13* This is a great app for keeping track of meets in real time, with fairly minimal delay. The layout takes a minute to get used to (the icons at the top are not labeled for their function) but once you play around with it a bit it’s pretty straightforward. You can favorite athletes which is a plus, and the break down provided for each athlete is nice. I have encountered a small bug that happens when looking at a list of gymnasts where it seems like the info onscreen is shifted down, and so the bottom of the quick select bar on the right hand side of the screen is shifted down offscreen and is unusable, and some of the list of gymnast info is also farther down below the end of where the screen will scroll and you have to hold you finger down on the screen and pull that data up for it to be visible and then it snaps back down below the screen once you release your finger. All in all this is a great app, with lots of potential. Easily 5 stars with a bit more polish. Could you please update!! **Developer response:** Hi, I updated my phone just now to 16.2 and the app works as normal. My wife’s phone was already updated and it works fine. There is a chance that disk space can cause this. Please check that you are not at your limit. The only other action I can think of is to uninstall and reinstall. There is no loss of data other than any favorites you had marked. I may be making a unrelated change soon anyways. So I’ll be sure to test with 16.2.
