Today's passage sits at the top of the home screen — the same one your widget and your morning notification carry. At the close of a reading, the app tells you what is already chosen for tomorrow: "Tomorrow: Epictetus, on what is not ours to keep." Every one of the quotes carries its own line. The home-screen widget is properly introduced at last. It is free, it always was, and it now stays current on its own — fourteen days of passages, changing at midnight, whether or not you open the app. Come back after a day away and Ataraxia remembers what you kept, sat with, or wrote about, and offers it to you again in one quiet line. Nothing here is behind a paywall that was not before. The daily passage is yours, always. ### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-09 Passages you can actually read. We've modernised the English in over a hundred passages — the same arguments, without the Victorian scaffolding. Better choices. The app now favours passages that suit what you're feeling, and rests ones you've just seen. One emotion, one room. Sitting with a feeling keeps its colour through the whole session.
