Music also has annoying bass distorted which is also easy to confuse with phone vibration. This is on a brand new iPhone 7 in perfect working order. Pretty hard to play because of all the confusing vibration going on. Lose the terrible music and add auditory alerts and it might be playable. ### 4/5 — A bit frustrating ... *2015-09-16, version 2.5* ... trying to clear planes to B and D; they often just don't "take" at the left and right edges of the iPhone 6 screen. A and C top and bottom work perfectly. Otherwise fun! ### 3/5 — Bad waypoints *2014-07-12* I played the lite version of this game few years ago. I loved it, worked great. But when I bought the most current version I notice that the waypoints you draw are very sloppy. For example if you want to direct a plane around the airport on a nice smooth curve, as soon as you lift your finger from the screen it snaps the waypoint into jagged lines. This causes problem because that means the planes don't follow the waypoints precisely enough. Please fix this with a quick update ### 4/5 — Fast paced addicting game *2013-04-12, version 2.5* This game is very easy to pick up an play. Controls are near seamless unless you have fat sausage fingers, ten it may prove a challenge as the planes and destinations are tiny. I'd give it five stars but in the survival mode it is lacking a feature. As you progress through the levels in survival it slowly adds more runways but those never get used thus not increasing difficulty. Please fix! Also wind never changes in survival and maybe make it change to night from time to time. The additional packs are well thought out and add increasing excitement. I highly recommend purchasing thoughts. All in all four stars. Five if they fix survival mode. ### 4/5 — Atc 4.0 *2013-01-05, version 1.81* I got up to level 47 which ask to land 20 planes on one runway L3. It describe hurricane force winds. I reality planes wouldn't fly in hurricane force winds. This is a flaw in the design of the game. Lose the wind or at least allow assigned course to stay anchored if connected to a destination - pilots don't just get lost when it's windy - minus 2 stars for that. The 2x mode for potential ipad users just makes the roughness of graphics and touch interface more apparent - minus a third star for that. Going back to Air Control on my Droid since there isn't anything as good for ipad. Don’t bother with this. Just an addendum: I wrote my original review in January, 2018. It took the developers more than 20 months to respond. So, it works now on an Xs. Barely. The game is so out-of-date, with graphics that LOOK the full 15 years old that they are. It’s a 15 year old game that was once fun. There are much better games out there now. **Developer response:** We don't get notified by Apple when reviews appear in the store. I just happened to notice your review recently. It does indeed work on iPhone 7, 7plus, 8, X, Xs, etc. I would say it works perfectly in that the game runs at full speed. You are disappointed the game hasn't had a graphics overhaul since it debuted. This game is a classic which originally debuted in 2009. If you don't like it anymore, that's fair. It only costs $0.99 and the free version is available which is ad-supported. Game won't load beyond the initial title screen and then crashes. Tried deleting and reinstalling, still crashes. Impossible to play. After 1 month I'm at level 26, pointless to continue because the game cheats in ways to cause total failure. Most obvious is when aircraft do not follow drawn course or when aircraft make it to edge of screen then suddenly get lost and there is nothing player can do.
