### 2/5 — The server is closed

*2025-04-18, version 1.10.1*

So sad I didn’t know about this game but they shut down servers for it last month in March 2025 :(

### 3/5 — Respectfully,No.

*2025-02-26*

Firstly-I simply cannot with the reviews criticizing the more “problematic”elements of this game, such fan service and girls love leanings are nothing new for the Atelier series-it is only the more recent games that have become more sanitized to capture a wider audience.
I feel like they tried to push the envelope again here and it backfired, heavy handed jiggle physics and anime girl upskirts are a no go in the age of the chronic online.

The real problems with this game is that it is laughably greedy, and quickly becomes boring and repetitive.
It kind of feels like it was meant to be something more substantial-but for whatever reason,it was reduced to a lackluster (but gorgeous looking and sounding) battle simulator.

I adore the Atelier series and look forward to the newer games that have been announced,I tried this upon release and I simply couldn’t stick with it.

### 3/5 — KEEPS CRASHING!!!!

*2025-01-08, version 1.9.0*

Love this game to death.

But since I got my iPhone 13 last year, I can’t play this game for five minutes without frequent crashes, and it’s made this fun game very unenjoyable. Never had issues on my old Android.

I’ve done everything from clearing my cache, to uninstalling and reinstalling, searching up any possible answer to why this is happening, posting questions in the reddit, reaching out for support. And no answers or help has yet to find the problem or fix the issue.

Only thing I’ve gotten is to play on the computer, which ruins the purpose of this being a mobile game if I can’t play on mobile.

Again, fantastic game, but it’s very frustrating and unplayable with all the frequent crashes, and as a fan of this series, it’s heartbreaking that I can’t enjoy this game the way it’s meant to be enjoyed.

### 4/5 — Honestly Really Good

*2024-10-24*

High production value, high quality graphics, music, engaging story (if a bit cheesy), simple yet strategic combat, and an addicting alchemy system. Really my only gripes are that it runs pretty poorly on my phone (I play on PC mostly) and there isn’t much exploration…but it’s fun regardless. One of the best gacha games I’ve played. You don’t even need much knowledge on the series to enjoy.

### 4/5 — Unexpectedly great

*2024-10-17*

I’ve only played the first Ryza game, but I was still hooked by the story here. The new characters are very likable. I wish we could walk around the environments and explore ourselves, but otherwise this is a really solid game that just about does everything right. I wish this was on console too, like Star Rail. It runs pretty bad on my iphone SE 2nd gen. Lowest settings and it still barely works.

### 3/5 — EXCELLENT game, CONSTANT crashes

*2024-09-29*

I fully support and LOVE this game, but the app crashes at least once every single time I play, and the game runs like molasses after playing it for a little while (horrible frame rate, freezing, etc). I really hope this game is way better optimized in the future, because it really is an excellent game when it works.

### 2/5 — Game becomes boring

*2024-07-06, version 1.5.0*

Hit the pay wall and game becomes so boring. Moreover, after the update it is crashed every minute or two that make it is impossible to play. Goodbye!

### 3/5 — Almost there …

*2024-07-02, version 1.4.2*

Beautiful graphics and the potential to be amazing. However the long dialogue, turn based combat, lack of male characters and godawful amount of jiggle physics makes this a very repetitive and boring game

### 2/5 — F2P players beware

*2024-05-27*

The gameplay itself is fun and engaging to an extent but the gacha is horrid. Each pull is 3000 gems, and by doing all the dailies/weeklies/events, you get about 6000 gems a month. With every banner there are 2, 50% discount pulls. So you get roughly 3 -10 pulls a month. The pull rate for the limited time characters are 1%. One of the units is usually not that great though so only a .5% chance for a desirable character. If you go by pure statistics, you’ll get 1 limited time character every 3 months. And a desirable one every 6 months.

TL;DR - You can’t team build in this game as a free to play player

### 3/5 — Not what I was hoping for

*2024-05-21, version 1.3.0*

This is more of a interactive story than actual game. Yes.. it has some aspects of game play.. but it feels clunky. The battles contain way too many clicks to complete a single attack.. and you can’t choose methods in which attacks to use of which characters in what order.. the game just cycles thru and it’s so many clicks to make a single attack.. then after the battle it goes into cut scene type of story….

That being said .. the art work is great. I do like the alchemy aspect of the game.. but instead of summoning heroes.. it would be nice if you could mix materials and create heroes. Anyway….. it has potential. I can’t comment on the story because it was so long I skipped as fast as the game let me.

The most disappointing thing about this game is you don’t actually get your own character and the tutorial doesn’t ask for a username. Those are game basics.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Dude seriously?

*2025-05-27, version 1.10.1*

Its like I have to go to freaking japan or china or whatever Cause it said that this game it no longer works in global places!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬😡🤬 look it’s just really frustrating so no hard feelings(kind…) I’m a little annoyed(infuriated) ok so yes I’m VERY mad because it took months to make room ok ok just like a day but still!

### 1/5 — RIP

*2025-05-23, version 1.10.1*

Anyone that put money into this was scammed. Shut it down in just a year. Pathetic.

### 1/5 — Excitement to sadnesss

*2025-04-29, version 1.10.1*

I was so hyped to see this on the App Store only to excitedly open the game to find out .. there’s no game anymore. I feel sorry for the people that spent money on this game only to have it ripped out from them.. bad bad karma to the devs. Atleast keep it going for the people who paid or refund them.

### 1/5 — Shut down??

*2025-04-08, version 1.10.1*

You could at least say that you can’t play it somewhere

### 1/5 — so disappointing that they are closing the server

*2025-02-05, version 1.9.2*

Users lose everything

### 1/5 — Forced Tutorial

*2024-11-14, version 1.7.1*

Stop forcing your players in a Tutorial we can figure out how to play a gacha game in 5 seconds. This is nlt a JRPG it's a gacha. Send us straight to Wish we don't need your tutorials it's a waste of our valueable time. Most people quit if the tutorial takes longer than 5 minutes. THIS IS A GACHA!

### 1/5 — Make a buy once

*2024-11-12, version 1.7.1*

Make a buy one play offline version I love atelier an when this gets shut down in future I’ll never play mobile games again but developers don’t listen to fans……crashes on iPad 9 gen

### 1/5 — Device

*2024-10-13, version 1.6.1*

Can’t verify my device don’t know why a iPhone 14 isnt known by game

### 1/5 — I liked the old Atelier Online better.

*2024-09-28*

Open-ish world, co-op play (the privacy settings needed work though), an alchemy system that didn’t depend on characters you had to gamble for. Story that catered to an audience beyond folks that want to watch gelatin boobas bounce while the mounts go ooooon annnd ooooon about things that are not even remotely interesting. And did I mention actually PLAYING the game and not just watching gelatin boobas bounce while the mounts go ooooon aaaannnnd ooooon about things that are not even remotely interesting?

Oh, and this game feels like lesbian bait. I mean I’m all for representation and equality, but uh, where’s the representation and equality for literally everyone else?

### 1/5 — RNG -based, stingy with game currency

*2024-07-26, version 1.5.3*

Events are difficult and unclearable at times making it hard to get the rewards. Game is too stingy with currency

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Ps5 Port

*2025-03-22, version 1.10.1*

Please port it to ps5. It’s a great game and l really love to play it. It’s a shame that game server will shut down in next week.

### 5/5 — PLEASE DONT CLOSE

*2025-02-28*

Developers! Please don’t close this game, it’s amazing, and so many people love it! I understand that it’s difficult to be creators, but I’m absolutely heartbroken that such a game isn’t going to be available anymore. I’ve only just got my friends to play it and they feel the same! Please don’t give up! Please reconsider this decision!

### 5/5 — Better than Genshin.

*2025-01-17, version 1.9.1*

Way less grindy and tedious. It feels like a game I can actually sit back and relax without worrying too much.

### 5/5 — Homage to Atelier

*2024-12-12*

If you like the Atelier series youll love this, including pretty much every character from the series as well as new ones with a story that is really well thought out and a combat system that can be as hands on or off as you like this is a great love letter to the series. If youre looking for a chill gacha game or just want more atelier this ones for you.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2024-08-12, version 1.5.3*

Great story, pretty world, cute characters and cutscenes. Everything an Atelier fan is looking for. My only issue is the expensive micro transactions. I’m aware it’s a free game and you need to make money, but you could charge less. I love this game.

### 5/5 — Amazing game

*2024-07-07, version 1.5.1*

Love this game 10/10

### 5/5 — it shows all about what god gacha is

*2024-07-05, version 1.5.0*

i would play as long as i live

### 5/5 — Resleriana

*2024-06-19*

Such a beautifully designed game. True to life animations, great storyline, excellent gameplay. The only other thing I could ask to make this my favorite game of this genre would be an English voice translation. I like to look at the animations during the story but I cannot read the story and enjoy the animations simultaneously. I give this five stars for all these reasons! Highly recommend y’all try this awesome game!

### 5/5 — Best gacha battle system I’ve ever played

*2024-06-10*

It’s well polished with tons of QOL but what attracted me and keeps me coming back is the battle system that’s actually quite puzzly and fun rather then. Ring something I want to auto through.

### 5/5 — fun game

*2024-06-06, version 1.4.1*

Very fun game to play love the characters
