## What is Athanor?

Athanor is the alchemist's furnace — a slow, ever-burning vessel of transformation. It takes the slide-and-merge puzzle you already know and gives it a soul.

Swipe to slide every tile one way; two equal metals fuse into the next rung of the ladder. Climb from formless Prima Materia through the seven planetary metals — Lead, Tin, Iron, Copper, Quicksilver, Silver, Gold — until you forge the Philosopher's Stone. Then keep going, into the endless rungs beyond.

No timer. No noise. Just the work.

THREE TOPOLOGIES, ONE ENGINE
• Nigredo — the classic 4×4 square board, four directions.
• Albedo — a hexagonal board, six directions across three axes.
• Rubedo — a radial mandala: rotate the rings, collapse to the center.
Each unlocks as you reach the Stone in the prior stage.

• Opus — reach the Stone, then climb without end.
• Zen — no game over, unlimited undo, pure calm.
• Daily — one shared seeded board each day; pure skill.
• Mutation — the board itself transmutes as you climb.
