## What is Athena Book Tracker?

Athena is an iOS app that allows you to track the books you are currently reading. With a simple UI and powerful features, you can easily get into the habit of reading with daily reminders and a clear view of the progress you are making on the books you are reading. You can also store the different books you have read along with the books you hope to read in the future. Furthermore, Athena allows you to take notes about what you've read. Powered by the Google Books API.

This app was built by Sai Kambampati, Logan Thompson, Nitya Bhupatiraju, Kevin Crawford, and Leejin Kim as a part of the University of California, Santa Cruz CSE 115A: Introduction to Software Engineering course taught by Professor Richard Jullig.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work, then can’t delete my forced created account

Poor program, you have to create an account to try it. Then once I’m on it, adding book feature doesn’t work. Only adding to wishlist worked. Then when I tried to remove anything from wishlist it wouldn’t. Finally I went to delete the account I created and it couldn’t even do that, or logout of the profile I had created. Nothing else worked, adding notes, etc. Search was severely limited, if a book was on page 2 or 3 of a list, you won’t find it when doing an author search. Using popular authors name, you get about 8 to 10 showing, so likely won’t find some of their books. I tried a popular Kindle author, Amanda M Lee, and it didn’t find anything under her name. Don’t bother trying or using this app. Doesn’t work and seems like an excuse to get your email. Glad I used a throwaway email account for the creation.
