The new digital mobility experience in Athens is here! myAthensPass is now AthensWay. AthensWay is the new official app of the City of Athens, replacing myAthensPass and marking a new era in the city’s digital mobility services. With a refreshed design, enhanced user experience and new features, AthensWay brings parking, travel information and mobility services together in one modern, user-friendly app for residents and visitors to Athens.  From myAthensPass to AthensWay If you already use myAthensPass, your profile, available e-wallet balance and parking ticket history will be automatically and securely transferred to AthensWay. To access your account details in AthensWay, sign in using the same email address you used for myAthensPass. There is no need to create a new account. Once signed in, you will have access to your available e-wallet balance and parking ticket history. Controlled parking made quick and easy With AthensWay, you can: * View controlled parking zones on the map and automatically detect your location via GPS. * Buy parking time in just a few seconds. * Save multiple vehicle registration numbers and activate parking tickets for different vehicles. * Top up your e-wallet by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. * Activate a parking ticket without having to top up your e-wallet separately beforehand. * Receive a notification before your parking ticket expires and extend your parking time remotely. * Purchase a parking ticket in advance for the next operating day or operating period. * Check the operating days and hours of the controlled parking system. * View your transaction history and digital receipts. Ξαφνικά ο λογαριασμός και τον υπόλοιπο εξαφανίστηκαν. Έπρεπε να κάνω καινούργιο λογαριασμό και μου πήρε 45 λεπτά, γιατί δε δούλευε τίποτα. Τα APIs για επικοινωνία είναι απαράδεκτα, τα μηνύματα για επιβεβαίωση κινητού δεν ερχόντουσαν. Για να βάλω κάρτα πήρε κάμποσες προσπάθειες γιατί έβγαζε λάθος. Απαράδεκτη εφαρμογή. ### 1/5 — Can’t add a card to fill up with money. *2025-06-05, version 2.7.5* I was visiting a hospital in the center of Athens and parked in a dedicated area, tried many times to fill the app so I could pay for the parking but it didn’t let me. There was a message that the bank couldn’t add more cards in the app for the moment. So after trying multiple times to add funds I ended taking a ticket. Your system is not working as intended. Add more ways to pay for the parking or remove the app completely. ### 1/5 — Couldnt add a card *2025-06-05, version 2.7.5* The app had crashed and didnt let me add a payment method so i couldnt pay and im gonna end up with a ticket … thats so absurd ### 1/5 — Can’t add a card for payment *2025-06-05, version 2.7.5* Very disappointed. I parked in a payed spot after searching for 25 minutes and I was in a rush for a medical exam. I downloaded the app, inserted all the information about the street and the license plate and then I got asked to “top up” my wallet and insert a card as I payment method. After filling a form with personal info I pressed submit and I got an error text saying I should try again later. This happened five times after trying to close the app and trying again. I had to search for parking again or I would risk getting a ticket. Very unreliable and one would expect an app that actually works when it’s sponsored by the municipality of Athens. Very disappointing experience. ### 1/5 — Cant add my card. It stacked *2025-05-22, version 2.7.5* No option to add apple pay.
