The Sun & Prayers widget brings a visual arc of the day’s solar journey right to your home screen, with each prayer time marked along the curve so you can feel the rhythm of the day at a glance. We also improved the stability of prayer times. A subtle issue that caused timings to occasionally shift by a minute has been resolved, ensuring more consistent and reliable prayer times throughout the day. For the Qibla, clarity comes first. The blue arrow has been replaced with a Kaaba icon, making it immediately clear which direction is the Qibla at a glance, right within the compass. We’ve also introduced gentle, moment-based reminders. Short adhkar now appear at thoughtful, non-intrusive times — simple prompts like “Remember Allah, and He will remember you” or a daily dhikr — arriving quietly throughout the day to keep the heart connected, without breaking your flow. We also fixed something that had been quietly frustrating: the app will no longer show raw coordinates in place of your city name. Whether you’re in Riyadh, London, or anywhere in between, Athkari now waits until it has a real location to show — and holds onto it gracefully when the signal isn’t there.
