I don’t like all the flavors, but even those I don’t like are made well, I just am not a fan of some kinds of beer. Quick competent service, fun ads, reasonable app. Wish I could work for these guys instead of a bank! You see in the 80's I tended bar where we featured over 55 beers. It was the start of the microbrew craze. I learned the distinct flavor of each beer, and memorized which beer was next on the list for my regular customers. Mocktails are good but the beer substitute eluded me. On day at Applebees the bar tender stumbled across the Athletic Pale. I almost wept... itt really had that beer taste, unlike other NA beers. I have ordered the xtra Dark and the Wheat (don't forget the orange wedge) they are scrumptious. The app handles this well, however it often feels like a non-native experience. Also, I was just looking at the price of the 24 pack hoppy water and it said $8.99 and I thought - wow a deep sale! So I added to my cart. Once in my cart it increased to the $30+ price. My husband and I first bonded over a discussion on craft beer and support of local breweries. Community is incredibly important to both of us and we would do anything for our local brewery. Unfortunately, drinking the high ABVs regularly was not so good for our health so we had to make some changes. Athletic Brewing has somehow figured out how to make a beer that tastes really damn good—without the alcohol. I recently celebrated seven years alcohol-free, and Athletic has been a part of that journey for me. Being able to crack open a great-tasting beer, enjoy the experience, and still stay true to the life I worked so hard to build means more than I can put into words. I’m not sure I could have done it without you guys. Thank you for giving people like me an option that doesn’t feel like we’re giving something up. Seven years alcohol-free—and still able to enjoy a damn good beer. Thank you, Athletic Brewing. Keep doing what you’re doing.
