### 2/5 — READ MY COMMENT IF YOU CANT REGISTER

*2025-08-23, version 3.2*

This app is NOT user friendly from the jump, even if you have never had this app downloaded the “register” option does NOT work. It never sent a code to my phone. After a few hours I decided to just choose “log in” instead and suddenly I’m receiving the codes to my phone and it let me create an account. I haven’t actually used the app yet, but considering I was about to delete it before even being able to make an account, I thought I’d post a review letting people know how to bypass that bug.

### 2/5 — No password from clipboard

*2024-11-09, version 3.2*

Most people use a pw manager to store passwords, and the clipboard to move them from manager to app sign-in. This app does not allow a password from the clipboard.

### 1/5 — Enough with the location prompts

*2023-05-19*

No means no. This app doesn’t need my location. Stop asking.

### 1/5 — 911 COULDNT LOCATE MY ADDRESS WHEN I CALLED AND OUR STREET SIGN IS MISSING AND CITY NEVER REPLACED

*2023-04-14*

So how does an app that the first review I’m reading states “one mistake during registration and all your data is lost and your back to square one!” Is what I read!? And my Facebook post about all the MAJOR ISSUES WITHIN VOLUSIA COUNTY DELETED BEFORE I POSTED IT AND CIRT AND COUNTY HAVENT HANDLED MAJOR ISSUES REGARDING INACCURATE POLICE REPORTS ONE I JUST MADE THAT SAYS MARCH ON THE TOP BUT STATES APRIL IN THE CONTEXT AND WAS CLEARLY TAKEN IN APRIL NOT MARCH! HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN! Then I wonder why I’m arrested so often and not my abusers because systems between two counties don’t interact ! AND JUDGES IN ONE COUNTY CANT SEE THE 50 REPORTS AGAINST SAID ABUSERS IN ANOTHER COUNTY! BUT MY KIDS NEED TRAUMA THERAPY ! MY KIDS WERE REMOVED BY DCF NOT THEIRS AND MY KIDS UNDERWENT ABUSE AND KIDNAPPING IN BOTH VOLUSIA AND SEMINOLE COUNTY BUT DCF CANT INVESTIGATE THAT BECAUSE (HE/SHE/THEY) ARE BACK IN MY CARE !!! OR HOW MY PURSE WAS LOST IN EVIDENCE FOR OVER 7 DAYS! MY CHILDS SCHOOL WAS EVACUATED TWICE IN ONE WEEK BECAUSE IF AIRDROPPED THREATS! WHEN I CALL NON EMERGENCY I HAVE TO LISTEN TO SO MANY OPTIONS JUST TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE! AND IVE EVEN CALLED 911 AND IT RANG AND RANG ONCE!! HOW !?!?! BROKEN SYSTEMS EVERYWHERE !

### 1/5 — Lousy

*2023-03-06, version 2.9*

Consistently locked out of my account and can not get back in. Considering this is a first responder app, that’s pretty bad

### 3/5 — Atlas one

*2023-01-12, version 2.9*

Easy to use.
Difficult to discern current info.
Be great if user could delete information older than 24 hours.

### 1/5 — Meh

*2022-11-23, version 2.9*

This app was great in the beginning (used it for about a year.) Never had to login. Now, I have to login to see the alert. BUT, the app will not let me login!! Do not waste your time with this app!!

### 2/5 — Ok but..

*2022-08-27, version 2.9*

I hate when it alerts me with a news article. Thought this was for like real-time incidents. I don’t need my phone going off to tell me the catalytic converter their thief was arrested. Maybe give us more alert options although police shouldn’t really be using it for that imo

### 2/5 — notifications dont work

*2022-07-13, version 2.7*

the app is okay, my notifications are enabled on the app and allowed on my phone. Yet I get zero notifications compared to my friend who gets them all. I’ve tried every possible thing to try and fix this problem but nothing works. Without notifications, this app is simply a waste of storage and will be removed from my phone if this continues.

### 1/5 — No way to log in

*2022-05-19, version 2.5*

I’ve tried twice to login. While there is a log in button, once you put the information in, nothing happens. The only thing it allows you to do is change your password but you still can’t log in. I never had this problem with my android phone. There needs to be a login button where you enter your information otherwise the app is useless and not worth downloading.

### 1/5 — Absolutely no support

*2021-04-30, version 1.57*

I got logged out of my account when I did a phone update 4 months ago. I have made multiple attempts to get assistance from support to help me reset my password ever since then, and have yet to get a response. The link to change my password will not work. Support is completely unresponsive.

### 1/5 — Having trouble logging in

*2021-04-12, version 1.57*

No one has responded to my multiple support requests

### 1/5 — Can’t sign in

*2021-01-06, version 1.57*

After typing in my password it won’t let me sign in. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, but never lets me in. I have deleted this app.

### 1/5 — Password reset problems

*2021-01-01, version 1.57*

Locked out and reset not working.

### 2/5 — Using cause my city uses

*2020-11-22, version 1.57*

Is a good app in the foreground. Is sucking the life out of my battery in the background. Always at the top of battery use list. Always background use is most of the use.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Stopped Working

*2025-12-12, version 3.2*

Stopped working, zero support, waste of time…

### 1/5 — Barely Functioning

*2025-03-26, version 3.2*

When I first downloaded the app I was able to use it. I receive alerts, but they are hours behind when the actual event has taken place. Recently, the app requested me to login. I’ve tried multiple times to send a verification code to my phone/email and never receive the code. Now I can’t open the app, but I am still receiving push notifications. It also doesn’t provide all the dispatch calls for the area.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work at all

*2024-12-18, version 3.2*

I logged in and tried to message my local PD, but I just get an error “Failed to create conversation, please try again.” My friends who have Android tell me it doesn’t work for them either.

### 1/5 — Pin

*2024-08-31, version 3.2*

Can’t even get a pin# to set up account! Requested multiple times.

### 1/5 — Unable to create account

*2024-07-15, version 3.2*

Since you can’t use the app without an account it is useless. It says a PIN code was sent but none received. It suggests resend and it fails to send. I have no problems receiving codes from any other app or websites.

### 1/5 — Can't read the alerts; no support

*2024-07-09, version 3.2*

Many of the alerts I receive from the town police can't be read as they are white text on gray. I can't find a setting to change, there is no explanation in the FAQs, and no one responds to requests for help. Kind of useless if they can't be read.

### 1/5 — Wouldn’t get past account creation

*2023-09-03, version 3.2*

Tried to open account but app wouldn’t ever send me the verification to my phone so after 10 attempts I just deleted the app. Not a good sign if they can’t even get me past account creation.

### 1/5 — create account sends no six-digit code

*2023-09-02, version 3.2*

…create account sends no six-digit code…

### 1/5 — blind me

*2023-07-12, version 3.2*

stupid retina detaching blue everywhere. for the pigs and it's see through. 👁️‍🗨️

### 1/5 — App is worthless and clunky

*2023-07-03, version 3.2*

I never give app reviews but in this case it’s totally warranted. The user interface is pathetic and completely unintuitive. There’s no way to quickly select a city and store it as a preference much less a quick/easy way to get back to that city/preference/department very quickly… LIKE IN AN EMERGENGY. It just presents everything as an unintuitive map mode. Gee.. thanks.. It might as well just be Google maps with icons overlaid which are simply weblinks to police departments..as if people don’t have Google.

So what exactly does this app do???

In short.. nothing.

Lastly, once you are able to select a police department its obvious it is either just a skin or portal for the actual police department’s website but once viewing that data, there is no back button!! Like how do you not even have a back button! Wow.

Whoever is developing this app, you really need to get to work and hire some good devs because I see no value in this app whatsoever in its current state. Literally none. You’ve made a map with some internet hyperlinks and little else.

In contrast sites like CrimeMapping.com is 1000% better and sends you alerts, alerts you can curate and tailor based on a chosen radius around your location such as your home. And you can get to any location quickly and intuitively and receive email alerts for each location, each scenario you create, etc. Extremely useful.

That is NOT this app!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent registration process.

*2024-01-03, version 3.2*

I personally do not think that the comment expressed by a person here is accurate. I did the registration process and it was very user friendly and went without a single problem. It is not the developer’s fault that this person was not paying attention to what he/ she was going. I am not affiliated with the app developers and I am writing this comment in the name of fairness.

### 5/5 — Works Well

*2023-10-09, version 3.2*

I have been using this app for since our Police Department partnered with Atlas One. It is user friendly. Users can take a tour before using it. I use it to get notifications and sending anonymous tips to our local police department. I highly recommend it. It’s a good tool to communicate non emergency messaging.

### 5/5 — Peace of mind

*2020-06-09, version 1.02*

The app is free and connected to the public safety systems. Totally worth having added in the phone.

### 5/5 — 👍👍

*2020-06-08, version 1.02*

About time, it’s 2020!!

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2020-06-08, version 1.02*

Have been using Nixle and Citizen, but this app is super clean and easier to navigate. Not sure what other reviewers are saying about delays with verification codes. Got mine immediately.

### 5/5 — Is this real?!

*2020-06-08, version 1.02*

Given everything that’s going on these days I constantly found myself asking “how am I supposed to know what’s going on around me”. Right now we rely on the news or social media to tell us what’s going on and even if it’s safe to go out. But that isn’t localized to what’s going on around or what is going on at places I care about, like my child’s school, my office, or my parents home! I cannot wait until this is in every city and I can have peace of mind and information from local authorities (not a middle man) in my hands!!

### 4/5 — Interested in the app

*2020-06-02, version 1.01*

Looking to sign up but when asked for text message verification, nothing comes thru. Excited to use the app.

### 3/5 — Text is impossible to read

*2025-12-04, version 3.2*

Notifications are impossible to read within the app because it’s always bright white text against a bright white background, with no way to adjust the color of either 👎

### 3/5 — Works but not great

*2024-06-27, version 3.2*

Map is buggy and offsets location incorrectly

### 3/5 — Poor registration process

*2023-03-06, version 2.9*

Hopefully app is not as bad overall as was the registration process. Make one mistake in their multi-step process and you’re back to square one with all data lost. Imagine encountering that when you’re in need of police help. Phew!
