A car is meant to have a seemless drive, not downloading app and the function infotainment unit in the car is horrendous: • Terrible user interface (UI), • Radio automatically turns on when car starts (One should only need to turn on when they need it, not force drivers to listen to music - It’s distracting) • when reversing car, the system simply hangs (resorting to me using side mirrors much easier) • Pops out that “weather” is always not available •Hardware infotainment unit screen is so glaring ### 1/5 — Automobile industri failed App *2023-01-06, version 1.0.7* Specially for the Proton X70 99% functions of the car true App not working. The app requests for calendar permissions but it doesn’t read calendar events on the phone. The only way to have calendar events display in the car is to manually add them in the app itself. Terrible app. *2024-09-18, version 1.2.2* Started by trying to register with my phone number. To begin with the captcha instructions super unclear; “Type the characters above” but there’s always an equation like “3 + 5 = ?”. Am I meant to solve the equation or or jus type that out? Turns out it didn’t matter as I tried both, with and without spaces. Whatever I tried the same msg appears: “Remote image verification code failed”. Got around the problem by signing in using Apple ID but was immediately faced with another problem, when trying to connect my phone number (which you must do before completing registration). All in all terrible app so far. Don’t even want to imagine the bugs when actually registered, The only reason I’m even trying to use this sorry excuse for an app because of the benefits you get from the Proton s70- I.e. free data- which makes it even more frustrating. Normally when we access this app we want to reach the vehicle controls more quickly. Could you consider setting the Vehicles tab as the default tab when we open the app? Or at least give an option for the user to remove tabs they don’t need. Personally I don’t need “Discover” and “Mall” tabs. The info isn’t relevant for me. I just need “Vehicle” and “Message” tab as it contains information relevant to my vehicle.
