Troops need to be able to be able faster or else players will get bored and leave the game. There is small fixes that can be done so the game can succeed. As it is what makes it good is what makes it bad Think of it as really good chocolate that is so rare and pricy but so good but then is too rare and take forever to get it you will just say forget it. Is not worth it. I was going to give two stars but just thinking about it you guys can do better that’s why I give you one star fine two so you know I have hope in this team. Get creative.. ### 4/5 — Good game but *2024-05-20* I’m enjoying this game and have been smashing out a lot of it lately, but I’m confused where the actual money making side of it comes into play? So far there have been no events or anything that you can participate in to earn real money like the app photos state in the store 😩 ### 2/5 — Needs alot of work *2024-05-01* First, if you buy items from the store, the free ones you got it watch the ads for you can occasionally leave the store after it’s done and not get given the item and you go back and it’s still there for you to wash that again then you’re alliance when you donate resources to ityou can watch the ad tad extra but sometimes when you do that it don’t add it at all so essentially you sit through a lot of ads for nothing and more then often the world chest dont count ### 2/5 — Progression is extremely slow *2023-06-07* I’ve been playing the game for well over a year with some of my coworkers and none of us are near the “end-game” building. The Crystal hammer spawns are so few and far between it takes about a week for us to even get enough to upgrade 1 building. The troops feel like the vast majority of them are too weak and squishy to really do anything. It’s a good game, just needs some extra help. Up the spawn rate of some items, lower the spawn rate of others. And for the love of god, 9.99 a month for a second builder??? Edit/add-on: it has been 11 months since an update on this game and it’s honestly sad to see, I haven’t been able to upgrade a building of mine in 3 months because no crystal hammer spawns happen regularly. I wouldn’t recommend this game for anyone since the developers have basically left it to rot. ### 3/5 — Good game but… *2022-08-18, version 2.38.16* This is a good game to play but there is an event where you donate dragon tokens but every time it has the event now I end up losing all my tokens because as soon as the event is over it disappears and you don’t get your rewards or anything! Just like everyone says it’s pokemon go meets clash of clans. It’s a fun game but the lack of development and the amount of bugs/glitches makes it extremely frustrating to play. Nothing is fixed in a timely manner and will only result it more bugs every time it seems. Current bugs are with videos not playing or crashing the game. The clan port was 1600 stars, we finally make it and I try to watch the first video to get extra rewards after all that and it crashes. Devs are garbage. **Developer response:** Hi there! It took a lot to build but it’s maxed out at 12 gifts a day despite my empire having over 400 villages. 12 gifts is pretty disappointing all things considered. My only other complaint is that the chests take so long to open. There should be a quick open option. ### 3/5 — Game Still needs work *2021-08-24, version 2.36.35* The concept itself is great, combining clash of clans along with the real world aspect such as Pokémon go. The tapping mechanics still need a lot of work. It’s a hassle to tap and collect my resources within my empire along with placing down troops while you are attacking an empire. Besides the tapping problems game is great and provides little pay to win concept. Grind and you’ll get places. ### 4/5 — Accused of cheating *2021-08-16, version 2.32.45* I was using a hand of reach while my girlfriend was driving and I was accused of using a bot. Then forced to accept my first warning. Ever. On any game. Maybe it’s because we have poor service in the Berkshires, but it’s ridiculously unfair. I haven’t noticed any backlash from the warning. I enjoy playing this game and I will be disappointed if I have to delete it do to your “algorithms”. ### 2/5 — UI *2021-07-26, version 2.32.45* The game itself is nice. 3/5 but the UI and map is extremely bad. Ill be in the car (not driving) and a chest will come by, and I’d be tapping on it 30+ times before it finally registers. Might just be lag but when I’m at home I have the same issue connected to the WIFI. If the UI is fixed and the map is made a bit better game would be 4/5 instantly for me. ### 3/5 — Builder *2021-06-17* U guys gotta add a another builder to the game if a player can only upgrade 1 building at a time and they gotta wait 5 hours to upgrade a building they will get bored of the game easier my suggestion: add another builder then make the 3rd builder 13.99 or wtv because right now I’m a great hall lvl 5 and I’m already starting to get bored because it’s taking things 5 hours to upgrade and I only have 1 builder and all my loot is maxed and the only thing I can do is battle. You can then pick a new plot of land to place your base ! ### 2/5 — Bad First Impressions. *2021-06-14* It feels too closely a clone of clash of clans. The objective chest bugged out a few times and required a full reset. The game also didn’t motivate me to go outside to grab stuff at the start, however that may just be a me problem. Over all with some more originality and some bug fixes this could do wonderfully. Plus I can’t find my pet. He’s going out and never returned and of course I can’t upgrade my pet because it says he’s out on a mission so I’m a little frustrated. I wonder if the developers play the game. A suggestion, no one seems to like to play stronghold wars our clan plays every week. if there was a way to keep track of your win and loss records maybe more clans would play just a thought. ### 1/5 — Pay to build *2021-07-07* Fun at the beginning but once u get ur builds to a certain level. Every building costs hammers and some need multiple hammers to build which are EXTREMELY rare to find or u gotta spend real money to get them. You can work with your Empire win them weekly during the Empire Chest Event. Plus you can sometimes find them in maxed-out outposts, objective chests, as part of the Stronghold War prizes, and when you spin the wheel in the Imperial Port! And there's always a chance to find them for free in the shop. Fresh Deals update every two hours, so make sure to check back regularly. If you’re going to make ads such a large part of your game you might want to be sure that they work. If not fixes soon I’ll just uninstall. At that price I should be able to build as much as I want. And the wait times for some things are too long. It’s a game. I’m playing to kill time. What’s the point of playing if I can’t play the game for hours because it takes too long to even do anything. Don’t be mistaken. Ever since they nerfed any of the decent attackers and added snipers to the game it has ruined the experience. Your base gets attacked by the same ppl multiple times a day limiting your ability to save enough funds to build anything. This went from being the best app on the market place IMO to the worst. Base moved almost a mile away from where it was placed and another structure put in its place. Not because we are good and strong but because most clans do not play. I believe that with a tracker of win and lose would motivate more to play. Something like clash of clans does with their tracking. At 70 years old I could be the oldest gamer still playing. Keeps me sharp. The events are always something to look forward to for you and your empire teammates to battle other empires every weekend. However…. I hope the developers don’t put the game on the shelf and say it’s finished. We have been waiting on the summoning tree ever since I started. New events and or different ways to compete against your rival empires would certainly keep the community and bring new players. Is this the final cut? If so I think there will be a lot of disappointment ### 5/5 — Going to be Tough to Leave *2021-10-31, version 2.36.59* I’ve played several games, sometimes for years, then I get bored and for one reason or another and I leave. This one is going to be tough to leave. The combination of real word scavenging for items combined with empire building, minus the complete destruction of so many other MMOs, coupled with cooperative attacks and empire chats, this is all of the “get to” play without any of the “got to” play. Sure there are aspects that make it convenient to pay… but those are all designed to improve YOUR base without any of the drawbacks of destroying others work. The resources is all that’s in play. And (in my experience) they’re easy enough to replace. What I would like to see for improvements? 1. A general base production screen. Yes I can tap on any resource for my maximum capacity, but it would be nice to see it all at once. 2. A casualty count during battle. Once I’ve deployed my Soldiers it’s tough to see how they are doing and weigh the “risk versus reward” options of continuing to attack. Being able to clearly see who’s left on the battlefield would allow for better decision making. But that’s all I see. ONLY complaint I have thus far is that during battle mode, that “Retreat” button needs to go or be moved or at least ask for confirmation.
