## What is Atlas Talked?

We all carry heavy loads.

Some people shoulder it easily, practically invisibly. Other hem and haw when the burden looks so small. The difference is that we simply learn through hard-won experience how to handle different kinds of difficulties.

That's why we made the world's first marketplace for peer support.

By providing a place where people come to talk about some of the toughest personal issues like divorce, addiction, and trauma, we're helping "normal" people see that they can help each other.

Anyone can register for the site and make a listing, bringing their unique life experience. Our providers, called Friends, set their own rates and only pay a small platform fee per booking.

If you're interested in talking with a Friend, the process is as simple as inquiring. We have a chat system through which you can schedule a time and even talk over video calling without revealing a personal phone number.

When the phone is just not enough, we also have the option of listing your location on a listing for meeting up in person.

AtlasTalked does not directly provide peer counseling but rather facilitates individuals in offering and purchasing it. Peer counseling is NOT therapy or professional counseling! In fact, we forbid professionals from offering psychotherapy in a professional capacity on the site.

This is something different: it's just humans helping humans with ever-present human problems.

Our goal is for you, yes you, to look at people differently when they bring 200 items in the express line.... It's to help us see each other as we truly are: unique people with our own special problems and our own cherished strengths.

If you'd like to take part, take just 5 minutes and sign up now. It's free and easy to get started.
