## What is Atlas?

Atlas is a calm planner for your tasks and your focus. Plan the day, keep every project in its place, then put the phone down and do the work. No ads, no clutter, no noise.

AGENDA
One day at a time. The week strip at the top opens into the whole month with a tap or a pull. Overdue tasks wait at the top of today, finished ones fold away, and your progress fills in as the day goes.

INBOX
Everything without a date lands here, so nothing gets lost while you decide. Filter by project, and give things a day when you are ready.

PROJECTS
Every project gets a card in its own color, with what is open and what is overdue. Tap one to see its tasks, add to it, rename it or delete it.

QUICK CAPTURE
Type "Call Ana tomorrow at 3pm #Home" and Atlas picks up the day, the time and the project. Or tap the mic and just talk: say a few things in one go, and Atlas turns them into separate tasks and shows them to you before anything is saved. Your speech is transcribed and understood on your iPhone, and the audio is never saved. Works in English, Portuguese, Spanish, German, French and Italian.
Tasks have reminders, repeats, subtasks and notes.

FOCUS
Pick a time on the dial or one of the presets, choose the tasks for the session, and start. The session takes the whole screen, and after a few seconds without a touch the controls fade away, leaving the time and your open tasks. Add a soundscape like rain, ocean or brown noise, turn on Pomodoro to work in rounds with breaks, and follow along from the Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island. When you finish, share your session as an image made for Stories.

BLOCK DISTRACTIONS (Premium)
Choose the apps and websites that pull you away, and Atlas blocks them for the length of a session. Or block everything except Atlas and the system apps. Set scheduled blocks that work even when Atlas is closed. Blocking uses Apple's Screen Time.

BROWSE
Your day at a glance: what you finished, the minutes you focused, and Insights with goals and streaks. Lists for Today, Scheduled, Inbox, Overdue, Pinned and Completed. Search across tasks and projects.

ALWAYS WITH YOU
Widgets for your day and your focus. A morning summary, and a reminder on Sunday evening to plan the week ahead. Reorder the tabs so Atlas opens where you want. Everything syncs to your account, so it is the same on every iPhone you sign in to and on the web at atlasapp.so.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics, and your data is never sold. Voice capture runs on your device. Export your data at any time, or delete your account and everything in it from inside the app. Atlas uses a free account so your tasks can sync.

ATLAS PREMIUM
Atlas is useful for free, with Focus, sounds and stats included. Premium adds:
• App blocking and scheduled blocks
• Flow sessions: open-ended focus that counts up until you stop
• Two-way sync with Apple Calendar, and your calendar events inside the Agenda
• Photos on your tasks
Atlas Premium is $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year in the U.S., with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Prices vary by country and are shown in the app before you buy.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Any unused part of the free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Atlas is made by one independent developer. Your subscription keeps it that way.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0 — 2026-10-05

Atlas 2.0 is a new Atlas. We rebuilt it around your day and made it calmer to look at.

• Five tabs: Agenda, Inbox, Projects, Focus and Browse. Drag the first four into the order you like in Settings, under Nav bar.
• Tags are called projects now, and nothing was lost. Every project has its own card and its own page.
• The Agenda shows one day at a time and opens into the whole month when you need it.
• A new Focus: pick several tasks for one session, a full-screen timer that fades out of your way, Pomodoro explained in plain words, and an image of your session to share.
• A new task editor, with Focus on this task one tap away.
• A reminder on Sunday evening to plan your week. Turn it off in Settings, under Notifications.
• Notes and Journal have retired, so Atlas can do tasks and focus well. Your notes and journal entries are safe in Settings, under Archive. You can read them there for 60 days and save a copy at any time.

Thank you for planning with Atlas.

### 1.5 — 2026-08-06

Speak your tasks.

Tap the mic in Tasks and just talk. Atlas turns what you said into tasks, picks up the day, the time and your #tags, and shows you everything before a single task is saved. Your voice is transcribed and understood on your iPhone. The audio never leaves the device.

Also new:

• Quick add understands you. Type "gym tomorrow 7am #health" and the date, time and tag land on their own. Now in English, Portuguese, Spanish, German, French and Italian.

• Your calendar, in your day. Events from your iPhone calendar sit above the day's tasks, so you see the meeting before you plan around it. Read only. Atlas never writes to your calendar.

• Faster everywhere. Writing in long notes, opening the app, scrolling your tags and coming back from the background are all noticeably lighter.

Thanks for keep supporting Atlas!

### 1.4.1 — 2026-07-24

Atlas 1.4.1 is here! Here's everything that was done:

- Fixes and polish, mostly in the places you would rather not notice.

- Shared notes are safer. Opening one without a connection now waits and tells you, instead of showing an empty page that could overwrite what was really there.

- The morning summary is accurate again. A task you add shortly before it arrives is now included.

- Setting a reminder on a task with no date used to quietly do nothing. Now the task moves to today, and Atlas says so before you save it.

- App blocking got two real fixes. Allowing Screen Time access from Focus now actually starts your scheduled blocks, and Scheduled blocks is visible to everyone instead of hidden away.

- Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and a new What's new page open straight from our site, so what you read is always the current version. Help also answers the questions sharing raises, including where a shared note goes when a share ends.

- A note or a journal entry opened from Search, or from a tag in Browse, could not be closed. It has its back button again, and the swipe that goes with it.

- Your journal is safer. Deleting an entry can be undone now, and clearing one and swiping back no longer throws it away without asking.

- More of Atlas speaks your language. The empty screens, the Productivity view, the reminder buttons on your lock screen, the Tasks filters, the widget and the date shortcuts were all still in English.

- When you create a task, Repeat is a switch. Off simply means it does not repeat, and choosing Every week now tells you which day it will land on.

- The welcome tour is readable in dark mode again.

- Plus a long list of small things: switches look the same everywhere, buttons answer a press, Reduce Motion is respected, icons grow with your text size, and Settings lost a block of options most people never needed.

- You can also follow Atlas on Instagram now, from Settings.

Thanks for keeping supporting Atlas!

### 1.4 — 2026-07-22

Atlas 1.4 is here, a bigger update with a few features we've been excited to ship!

• Real-time collaborative notes. Invite someone to edit a note with you and see changes instantly. No refreshing, no sending. Collaborative notes are included with Premium, and anyone you invite can collaborate for free.

• Focus is now free. Timed sessions, soundscapes, streaks, and statistics are now available to everyone. App Blocking and Flow Sessions remain Premium.

• More languages. Atlas is now available in German, French, and Italian, bringing the app to six supported languages.

• Plus plenty of polish. A redesigned onboarding experience, larger note text, a clearer Face ID lock for private notes, and lots of improvements and bug fixes throughout the app.

Thanks for using Atlas!

### 1.3 — 2026-07-14

Atlas 1.3 makes your day flow better:

• Focus, simplified: pick 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, or tap ∞ for an open-ended flow session. All on one screen.
• Completed tasks now appear on the day you completed them, so your history reflects what actually happened.
• Overdue tasks are clearly flagged everywhere, including on their original day.
• A beautiful new welcome tour greets new members.
• Cleaner tags in Browse, our updated logo on every screen, and polish throughout.
