## What is Atlas?

Atlas is a calm, all-in-one home for your day. Tasks, notes, journal, and focus sessions, together in one beautifully simple app, synced across all your devices.
No ads. No clutter. No noise. Just a quiet place to plan, write, and reflect.

TASKS
Plan your day with a clean, friendly to-do list. Due dates, reminders, sub-tasks, repeats, and tags, plus an Inbox for everything without a date yet. A calm agenda that helps you actually finish.

NOTES
Notes that feel like paper. Rich text, checklists, photos, and an editor that stays out of your way. Capture a thought in seconds and find it later at a glance.

JOURNAL
A space to reflect, daily. Set how you feel with a single tap, then write as little or as much as you like. Every day brings a new line from the great thinkers, from Marcus Aurelius to Seneca, with a short reflection on what it means. Look back over your month as a soft mosaic of moods, and watch your patterns come to life in Insights: your mood over time, the words you reach for most, and the rhythm of your practice.

FOCUS
Find your focus. Pick a task, start a timer, and give one thing your full attention. Settle in with ambient sound, and block distracting apps for the length of a session. Build a focus habit you can see.

ATLAS PREMIUM
Go further with Atlas Premium. Unlock the full Focus module with app blocking, advanced Journal insights, iOS Calendar sync, and attachments on your tasks. A free trial is included, and every subscription supports our small team and the future of Atlas.

ONE CALM PLACE
Everything lives in one place, synced across your devices, always with you.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your tasks, notes, and journal are yours. No ads, no tracking, no selling your data. Lock your journal behind Face ID for an extra layer of privacy.

Atlas. Everything in one calm place.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5 — 2026-08-06

Speak your tasks.

Tap the mic in Tasks and just talk. Atlas turns what you said into tasks, picks up the day, the time and your #tags, and shows you everything before a single task is saved. Your voice is transcribed and understood on your iPhone. The audio never leaves the device.

Also new:

• Quick add understands you. Type "gym tomorrow 7am #health" and the date, time and tag land on their own. Now in English, Portuguese, Spanish, German, French and Italian.

• Your calendar, in your day. Events from your iPhone calendar sit above the day's tasks, so you see the meeting before you plan around it. Read only. Atlas never writes to your calendar.

• Faster everywhere. Writing in long notes, opening the app, scrolling your tags and coming back from the background are all noticeably lighter.

Thanks for keep supporting Atlas!

### 1.4.1 — 2026-07-24

Atlas 1.4.1 is here! Here's everything that was done:

- Fixes and polish, mostly in the places you would rather not notice.

- Shared notes are safer. Opening one without a connection now waits and tells you, instead of showing an empty page that could overwrite what was really there.

- The morning summary is accurate again. A task you add shortly before it arrives is now included.

- Setting a reminder on a task with no date used to quietly do nothing. Now the task moves to today, and Atlas says so before you save it.

- App blocking got two real fixes. Allowing Screen Time access from Focus now actually starts your scheduled blocks, and Scheduled blocks is visible to everyone instead of hidden away.

- Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and a new What's new page open straight from our site, so what you read is always the current version. Help also answers the questions sharing raises, including where a shared note goes when a share ends.

- A note or a journal entry opened from Search, or from a tag in Browse, could not be closed. It has its back button again, and the swipe that goes with it.

- Your journal is safer. Deleting an entry can be undone now, and clearing one and swiping back no longer throws it away without asking.

- More of Atlas speaks your language. The empty screens, the Productivity view, the reminder buttons on your lock screen, the Tasks filters, the widget and the date shortcuts were all still in English.

- When you create a task, Repeat is a switch. Off simply means it does not repeat, and choosing Every week now tells you which day it will land on.

- The welcome tour is readable in dark mode again.

- Plus a long list of small things: switches look the same everywhere, buttons answer a press, Reduce Motion is respected, icons grow with your text size, and Settings lost a block of options most people never needed.

- You can also follow Atlas on Instagram now, from Settings.

Thanks for keeping supporting Atlas!

### 1.4 — 2026-07-22

Atlas 1.4 is here, a bigger update with a few features we've been excited to ship!

• Real-time collaborative notes. Invite someone to edit a note with you and see changes instantly. No refreshing, no sending. Collaborative notes are included with Premium, and anyone you invite can collaborate for free.

• Focus is now free. Timed sessions, soundscapes, streaks, and statistics are now available to everyone. App Blocking and Flow Sessions remain Premium.

• More languages. Atlas is now available in German, French, and Italian, bringing the app to six supported languages.

• Plus plenty of polish. A redesigned onboarding experience, larger note text, a clearer Face ID lock for private notes, and lots of improvements and bug fixes throughout the app.

Thanks for using Atlas!

### 1.3 — 2026-07-14

Atlas 1.3 makes your day flow better:

• Focus, simplified: pick 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, or tap ∞ for an open-ended flow session. All on one screen.
• Completed tasks now appear on the day you completed them, so your history reflects what actually happened.
• Overdue tasks are clearly flagged everywhere, including on their original day.
• A beautiful new welcome tour greets new members.
• Cleaner tags in Browse, our updated logo on every screen, and polish throughout.

Questions or ideas? Reach out from Settings. Happy focusing!

### 1.2 — 2026-07-10

Atlas 1.2 is a big one: a smoother start, a calmer Settings, and more ways to focus.

• New welcome tour when you create your account: a quick intro to Tasks, Notes, Journal, and Focus
• Settings, fully reorganized: 7 clear sections, a new Help area with answers to common questions, and subscription management built in
• Tap any widget to jump straight into its module
• 5 new focus soundscapes, including Drift (generative ambient) and Pulse (binaural beats)
• Redesigned focus charts and a daily goal ring in Your Stats
• New options: turn haptics on or off, choose how notes are sorted, and switch the app language
• Helpful tips introduce scheduled blocks, auto-blocking, and widgets as you use the app
• Better support for larger text sizes, plus many fixes and refinements
