I might as well look somewhere else. ### 2/5 — Radar only has past history *2024-05-27* I purchased the Pro App long ago and even though they don’t offer it anymore at least I don’t have to see ads on the basic app. But the Radar view only shows the previous 6 or so hours. Nothing about Radar map showing the next 6 hours which many weather apps do. Sorry, but I already know if it rained in my area 3 hours ago; i just want a Radar forecast showing whether it’s going to be raining in 3 hours from now!! Guess I have to move on to another app; wish I could get a refund for having paid already for an upgraded app that is now just a basic app with less features than I paid for! ### 3/5 — Just ok *2024-05-02* Pretty good app. Just wish it would display a weather forecast for more than 24 hours. Difficult to plan ahead. The thing i like the most is on the opening screen i can see the current stats and also the days highs, lows and the summary of todays wether, unlike all weather, accuwesther where once you are on the current day you have to switch pages and dig for todays high and low temperatures. The reason i’m giving this three stars is that the app only has forecasts for the large cities. for me the closest forecast is peterborough which is 30 Km away and in a completely different microclimate. peterborough can be 4c difference from where i live and the next closest forecast city is apsley which is 38km away any at a higher elevation! it’s too bad, i’d really enjoy this app if it only had forecasts that were relevant to where i live. if you live in a larger city or in a town that has a EC weather station, this app is for you. ### 4/5 — Off the Radar *2021-07-05, version 4.1.0* Sorry I updated 4.0.5 to 4.1.0. Please ### 3/5 — App good but doesn’t have my town *2021-06-29* The app is good, but environment Canada doesn’t have a weather monitor in my town and the closest place across the inlet has quite different temp and weather variations. ### 3/5 — Good info and format, but hard to see *2021-05-02, version 4.0.5* This has a good format for packing in a lot of info and for a bit of customizing what info you prefer to see. But graphically, it’s made up of text that’s easy-to-see because it’s high contrast (the live feed info) with text that’s almost impossible to read because it’s dark grey against black (label info). If the developer would fix this I’d use the app more. ### 5/5 — All good *2021-01-21, version 4.0.4* Love it now with the larger print. Long term average historical temperatures is great. Hourly temps now added. It's the only damn app that's doing it. And I made sure the pref in the App Store settings was unchecked. I don't know why this dumb developer thinks he's entitled to circumvent system settings. I'm sick of this constant behavior. I will look for an app where once I pay for it I do not want to be pushed to download or purchase items I do not want! I consider ad that are shown in this format no better than telephone marketing. Not cool that you disabled the Pro app which we users paid for! ### 1/5 — Subpar Tech Support, don’t bother supporting these guys *2020-12-07* Been a long-time user of the pro version of this app, which has just recently been discontinued (unbeknownst to me). Changed back to the regular app, which has just been updated to keep up with modern iOS interfaces. New format seems ok, however was unable to reactivate my purchase of the pro version to remove adds. When reaching out to the support line to get some assistance on the matter, I was told that the new app should honour my previous purchase of the pro version. When I reported that the app was uncooperative to my attempts in doing so, I was essentially told that I’d be better off paying for the upgrade fee a second time, rather than going through a troubleshooting process to try and resolve the glitch. Asinine. It’s really unfortunate when an app with potential is backed by people who have no sense of customer service or proper technical support standards. I won’t be vouching for this app any longer. **Developer response:** Thanks for your detailed feedback. We are happy to try to resolve the issue you are seeing, especially as there might be other users encountering the same conditions. We just didn't want you to have to spend a few dollars of your time on the issue, but we definitely appreciate your time to help diagnose. ### 1/5 — Totally New , totally boo *2020-12-03, version 4.0.0* Used to enjoy this app for years because of the layout of the data. The tiny text, jam it all in was 1. The radar didn’t work was 2. The adds were the final blow 3. Past 24 hours, next 24 hours, historical extremes, etc., etc. I’m don’t know if it’s my phone’s fault or a general bug - but the cities and highways don’t show in the radar… even when they’re selected in the options. Also it would be nice to see the radar show more than one hour at a time - I find it easier to see the trend of how a storm is tracking and building over a greater amount of time.
