Every few updates a stupid notification or splash screen is added that can’t be opted out of or shut off. No surprise it’s happened again! Please stop. Or, if anything is added, make sure users can get rid of it permanently via settings or something. Am also noticing PM2.5 and PM10 counts often exactly match and update with same count simultaneously. What’s up with that?

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. We’re continuously working to improve the app and introduce new features that we hope will be useful to our users. We understand that additional notifications or screens may not be useful to everyone, though, and we’ll keep your feedback in mind for future updates.

Regarding PM2.5 and PM10: PM10 includes all particles smaller than 10 µm, including PM2.5. If most of the detected particulate matter is smaller than 2.5 µm, the PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations can be identical or very close and change at the same time. This is normal behavior and does not indicate a sensor issue.

I’ve noticed that if the tvoc gets a spike you have to turn it off and back on again to reset it. It will not come back down on its own even if you get in fresh air. Not very accurate at all.. co2 is always off. Even when in fresh air

Turning the TVOC sensor off and back on does not actually correct a high reading. When the sensor is restarted, it has to establish a new baseline based on the current environment. If TVOC levels are still elevated after the spike, restarting the sensor may cause it to temporarily treat this elevated level as the new baseline.

Normally, there is no need to restart the TVOC sensor after a spike - the reading should decrease on its own as air quality improves after a while.

For CO₂, typical outdoor levels are around 400–600 ppm. Please keep in mind that holding the Atmotube close to you can increase the reading, as exhaled breath contains a high concentration of CO₂.

If necessary, you can manually calibrate the CO₂ sensor. Place the device outdoors for several minutes, away from people and your breath, then go to Settings → Sensors → Advanced → Calibrate CO₂, enter 400 ppm, and tap Calibrate.
