Identifying sessions and abstracts of interest was not intuitive and just didn’t work very well. I tried to send the schedule to my calendar and it worked for a short time and then everything was deleted. Now I’m getting constant error messages.I think the ATS should go to a different vendor. ### 1/5 — A very poor dated meeting app *2019-05-05, version 3.2* Compared to other scientific meeting apps (e.g. see the SOT meeting for a good one) this ATS app. is abysmal. Makes you reload often, stalls on the Giles’s open screen for a long time, and often deletes saved schedules. It’s largely useless and an embargoed the society. ### 1/5 — Very mediocre app *2018-05-21, version 3.0* I’ve been using a version of this app for the last 3 years. It never ceases to amaze me how buggy and flawed this map is on not just a programming side but also ease of use/interface issue. The app constantly crashes, requiring a restart of the app and being forced to see a splash screen/advert. If you switch out of the app for more than a minute, the app will lose your place and you will be forced to look at the advertisement/splash screen for another 15 seconds. Logging in has been a hassle. I still haven’t been able to log in so I can record what talks I want to go to. If I was in charge, this company should not be working in apps for the ATS. ### 1/5 — Worst one yet *2017-05-22, version 2.0* Terrible just terrible. Randomly crashes. Randomly doesn't load saved sessions. Drained battery in no time. No way to uncheck location services inside the app once enabled. ### 1/5 — Randomly deletes all saved sessions *2016-05-15, version 1.2* App looks good and loads fairly fast. However, unable to save sessions; when app is closed and reopened saved sessions just disappear. It would just get stuck “updating” with a spinning wheel. ### 1/5 — Terrible App. ATS could do better *2025-05-18, version 6.1* I have been using this app for a few year during ATS Conference. It is updated every year to reflect changes specific door that year. However the app functionality has not improved. It take very long to open and updates every single time it is opened or even when the screen is turned off and back on. It is also too slow to use to take advantage of polls during the talks. ATS should change developer to rebuild the app from ground up rather than updating it each year. ### 1/5 — Does absolutely nothing *2025-05-18, version 6.1* Can’t log in. Can’t pull up a map of the exhibit hall. Doesn’t work on wifi or data. Throw the whole app away. ### 1/5 — No option to silence select notifications *2025-05-13, version 6.1* I would like to have control over what types of notifications I am alerted to. For example, notify me when a subject that I am interested in is having an event. Do not notify me about industry sponsored events ### 1/5 — One of the worst apps ever *2023-05-22, version 5.3* Poorly designed, not user friendly, illogical, inefficient and buggy. I would rate it lower if I could. ### 1/5 — Crashes when trying to add session to itinerary. *2023-05-21, version 5.3* Title says it all. Basically useless this year. Above bug crash fixed but now takes forever to load and has to reload every time you open the app. Can’t see session Still basically useless ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2023-05-21* Reload and updates every time the app is opened which makes it slow. Also ARS is not working properly. This makes the app functionally useless because you can't even build a schedule in it. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2023-05-15, version 5.1* I had last year’s app downloaded, and for some reason this new app won’t open. I’ve tried deleting them all, clearing my cache but I’m not sure why it won’t work. Specifically saving a stared event to one's schedule calendar is difficult to discover and the online help is not informative about this procedure. The in facility GPS locator is killer. ### 3/5 — Slow to load, annoying ad *2018-05-22, version 3.0* Pretty much what Luis Ortiz said. It constantly makes you reload the app, which meant I had to see the starting ads over and over and over, all day long. The Gilead ad and the therapy puppy ad. All day long. Has nice features, but needs some tweaking to make it faster and easier to use. ### 2/5 — If I had a nickel *2024-06-19, version 5.6* for every time this app crashed while I was trying to watch a lecture, I wouldn’t need any more grant funding.
